NLL BASEBALL

    Any info or predictions?

I'm going with Maumee partially out of being a fan of Maumee but also I know they have a strong junior class and a couple of good seniors to possibly lead this team to a championship.

Last year was the year of the cougar...this year the panther?

I'm one of those guys that believes that the team that won the year before deserves the early season edge if nothing more than a sign of respect for their success in the previous campaign. There have been a number of good baseball teams and programs in the NLL over the years and this season will be no exception. Southview, Anthony Wayne, Perrysburg, Maumee, and Bowling green have all fielded strong teams during the 2000 decade and we'll have to see if someone else adds their name to that list this season. In fact, I think we could say that just about every team in the NLL has at least contended for League honors or made life very difficult for those that were in contention. The NLL is a pretty good baseball conference. Let's put the favorite's tag on the Southview Cougars and see how well they defend their honor this season!

^^^Never a bad choice to pick the team who returns the player of the year.

I hear Batt isn't playing baseball how does that affect BG?
  • NLLBEST
If at all i would say it would hurt there batting order. But other then that I doubt it will effect the team all that much.

I hear Southview got a transfer in from Florida (pitcher)?

Well after tryouts I hear Maumee kept about 13-14 on varsity. 4 seniors, 8 juniors and 2 sophmores?

A-W has recieved 2 early injuries that could hamper an nll championship season from what I hear.
