Ohio Cardinal Conference - Thoughts?

  Now that everyone is done with football....let's turn to hoops.
  
  Orrville, Senior, Madison look to be the top 3 teams (in no particular order).
  
  Will anyone outside of those 3 have a say?
  
  General thoughts?
  
  Thought I saw something about Avery not playing for Lex this year. Is that for sure or has he decided to play?

  Lex has some size coming up from the soph. class. Ashland shouldn't be bad, but will be slow starting due to football. Senor just reloads, but doesn't seem to have the big people of the past.

  I did confirm that Courtney Avery IS playing for Lex this season.

  I am glad to hear that Avery is playing this year I want to see him finish out his career strong with Lex. Although that is not great news for other teams in the conference.
  
  Orrville will be much improved IMO. They will play more as a team and I think that the substitution problem will be fixed. They have talent and have had talent for years. Good luck to the new Coach I am glad you are here good luck cleaning up the mess of the past.

  Avery has some height around him this year...might need to be more of a distributor this season....or at least less of a chucker.

  Orrville vs Mansfield Sr. this Friday night. Early season big game.

  We will be close to full strength with Bolyard back. We should have a very good inside out game. Should be fun. Would be a big win for the new Coach.

  Mansfield Senior adds 8 new players to their varsity line up. Hard to tell how this team is going to gel. They faced off against Cleveland East, which is hardly competition. Especially for an OCC team. Should be a good game against Orrville this friday.

  Our scouts were there...but I'm sure Senior will be the typical fast and athletic bunch that likes to press. This will be a good early test for us. If this year is "different" then I expect a win.

  Wooster looks to be improved some. I'm not predicting an OCC title by any means, but they could help to determine the OCC Winner.

  Good to hear that Wooster is getting back to some respectability. I enjoy the conference more when Wooster is closer to the top than the bottom.
  
  Early test for the Riders and the Tygers! Should be a great one.

  Watched Wooster play last weekend, they have a nice core of returning players. Defense is their weakness. Very athletic kids though. I am saying top 3 or 4 in conference this year.
