  Gosh a ruddies Bush comes into office and he was handed budget surpluses. Then his misbegotten tax cuts, heavily skewed to reward the rich, push us deep into deficit. An economy already being primed with monetary policy that cuts interest rates to near nothing. Then the deregulated financial industry sends us cascading into the worst economic decline in 70 years. Obama presented with an economy in free fall. And what is available to fight the Great Recession, taxes have already been cut to the bone, the Fed has little leeway to cut interest rates. But Obama is still able to first stop the fall and then begin the recovery. Congratulations to a great leader.

  It becomes more and more obvious in this conversation that you are completely out of your "dept." On a site where I have read some impossibly stupid statements, you may have the winner, "you're delusional if you think caring for a poor person is helping them." I think providing food for a food bank, making sure someone's heat is not turned off, giving them clothing is helping the poor. And I also work for long term programs so they will receive the funding necessary for them to good life, free of want.
  As I wrote, which does not seem to penetrate your hateful little mind, i work both to provide short term aid to the needy and to establish long term programs for them.
