the only way you can convince yourself you are winning a discussion is by changing the words of the advocate of the opposing opinion. how shallow of you.
  • BR1986FB
No, just correcting the statement so it's factual.
  • isadore
no just changing the words, because it is the only way you can attack my unassailable arguments.

Pit Bull are killers and do not belong in peoples' homes.

Wrong. People are assholes who TRAIN Pitt Bulls to be killers.

The dogs are bred to kill by people who WANT them to be violent. They were originally bred as house pets.

EDIT: the addition of "their preferences" tells me you don't really believe what you're saying and are doing nothing more than stirring the pot.

what is stupid is denying the obvious fact that pit bulls kill and do not belong in people's homes.

I am not stirring anything just expressing any obvious fact. And they were not originally bred to be house pets.

So do processed foods but that hasn't helped me avoid getting behind all of the Lard Ass Logan's on their scooters at the grocery store.

I am not the one arguing to keep killer dogs in people's homes, that is loony, but will lead to tragic consequences.

I had not seen process food do anything like this to a child.

Did the own train the dog properly? If not then your argument is wrong.

wrong, what kind of an animal are you bringing into your home. To be safe around it, it has to be trained perfectly and all the inhabitants of the home must act exactly appropriately toward the dog at all times or they are endanger. That is not true of most of types of dogs, none are as dangerous. To bring a pit into your home is a criminal act.

I personally don't want a pitbull and wouldn't have one around kids, but I don't feel that I have the right to tell others what choice to make. Why do you feel that it is any of your business what people do in their homes?

The same children that statistics say are far more likely to die of heart disease or other complications from being obese than from a dog?

Because the dogs get out of their homes and kill other peoples' children

they are more likely to die of complications from obesisty when they are 3, 2, 17months. 3 days old. really. hey they can change behavior later, they can not change a ripped out throat.

    Did you know....

1.) About 40 people (children) per year die by drowning in 5-gallon water pails. A person, during their lifetime, is 16 times more likely to drown in a 5-gallon water pail than to be killed by a Pit Bull.

2.) Approximately 50 children in the US are killed every year by their cribs - 25 time the number of children and adults killed by Pit Bulls.

3.) Approximately 150 are killed every year by falling coconuts. Therefore, you are more than 60 TIMES MOR LIKELY to be killed by a PALM TREE than a Pit Bull.

4.) Each year, 350 people drown in their bathtubs. You are 151 times more likely to be killed by your bathtub than you are by a Pit Bull.

5.) Every year, more than 2,000 children in the U.S. are killed by their parents or guardians either through abuse or neglect. A child is more than 800 times more likely to be killed by their caretaker than by a Pit Bull.

6.) It can be estimated that for every Pit Bull who kills, there are 10.5 MILLION that DON'T!
