Things I've noticed the last couple of days.

Why are there times , that no matter what, no matter how much you drink, it ain't enough until you pass out.

Why are people nice to you when somebody dies? I mean it's nice and all, but are they trying to capture some kind of cosmic Karma?
I mean some of these people would not piss on you if you were on fire.

Why do you feel guilty for seeing some of your relatives only when people die. You never thought enough to go see them, Why would you feel bad about it?

What seems to be the problem drinking at a get together after a funeral? Especially when the deceased would be the first on to pop a beer?

Why is the food at these get togethers particularly awesome?

Why is there always a person that is DEVASTATED at the funeral complete withh colapsing and wailing? My brothers ex wife "fainted". Too bad she didn't break her fucking neck. Bitch left my bro after he told her he had cancer and left with more than half of his shit. She said she couldn't take it.

sorry to be a downer, Dunk already and on a roll.

This makes me laugh. Because a few days ago, someone in town died who was the elderly mom-in-law of a prominent citizen. The gossip-bitch in our office, when hearing about it, goes on an extended "OH THAT'S SO SAD SO SAD SO SAD SO SAD" on a regular basis. Which would be nice and all, but she's so fake about anything involving sympathy that it just pisses you off to hear it.

Perhaps, but then he'd be stuck with her for eternity.

It's because people are retarded. You should be getting hammered at those things.

Also, people are nice when someone dies because it's called having respect. If someone posted on that thread about TB, and said who the fuck cares, you would've got pissed. It's not about "faking the likeness for him/her" it's about saying damn, they are gone from the earth and it's time to show respect/maturity.

Also, go do a line of cocaine. You'll be feeling better.

When you announced TB passed away, I was wondering why he was staying at your house. I recall him posting a thread after his first round of chemo and telling a story about how he drank a beer and threw up. His wife gave him one of those "i told you so" responses.

She actually left because she couldn't take him having cancer? What a heartless mentally weak ****.

I drank rather heavily immediately after I got home from the hospital when my father died. I was shaking so hard I needed some whiskey to calm myself. It was one of the worst days of my life. Dad and I were very close.

I didn't drink after my Dad died. He died in a hospital bed while I was picking up my Daughter at the airport. I didn't want to be there when he expired and he knew that. Anyway I didn't drink that Saturday night because I had to help make arrangements on Sunday morning...but I have drank MANY nights since then and dreamed about him for a month straight right after he passed.
