Barrea, Terry,Peja, Haywood and potentially Butler if he returns is the best bench left in the playoffs though

Chalmers isn't bad, certainly not good. He just doesn't do anything exceptionally well, he's just average.

I love Z as a Cavs fan, but he is done...you cannot count on getting anything from him at this point. But I am not going to get into a pissing match about a series that I don't care about.

yes but if Mike Miller and Haslem were healthy I would say Miami's would be

No one said a word about Barea until he lit the Lakers up, or Peja. And let's be honest, they won't have open driving lanes or shots like they did against the Lakers against the Heat or the Bulls. Not even close. And Haywood is garbage. And you might as well say Stevenson, because Terry plays starter minutes--and we all know how awesome Stevenson is.

no hard feelings or pissing match, just saying he contibuted for them, started like half the season, but yeah he is a shell of his former self

Barrea will go by Bibby like hes standing still. And Haywood is garbage but Joel Anthony is a stud? they do the exact same thing for their teams you idiot

    Z is garbage.

LOL. If you're inactive then you are not a solid bench contributor. I am a solid bench guy for the bulls then.

But Miami will rotate, clog the lane and help WAYYYYYYYYYYY better than the Lakers did. The Lakers were completely out of sorts, there was more going on behind the scenes than we know--and they were probably worn out. A lot of games in the last few years. Miami is a better defensive team anyways. Not saying Bibby can keep up speed for speed but he knows how to make a guy work at least. But Chalmers can keep him in front.

And Haywood is not like Anthony. Haywood isn't half the defensive player that Anthony is.
  • Hb31187
Haywood is the exact same player as Anthony...like EXACT. No threat to score unless its a dunk, good rebounder and shot blocker. If you really cannot see that, idk what to tell you

you obviously don't understand strategy and coaching then, the only reason he is inactive is to play faster against the bulls
  • The Boss
You don't hear the Dallas fans chanting MVP for Haywood. They do for Anthony in Miami, and he has two MVP type players on his team. And it's because he makes that many plays on defense, whether you see it in the stat sheet or remember it from watching the game or not, it still happens.
  • robj55
Joel is much better at help defense and defending the pick and roll

He won't be active against any of the remaining teams.

He isn't half the defender that Anthony is. He doesn't move anywhere near as well as Anthony. Might as well agree to disagree. Haywood is a 7'0 big body. Anthony is a 6'9, undersized, athletic defender. He's far more versatile than Haywood.
  • Hb31187
So because the fans chant MVP it means that hes a better player? You're really using that as a selling point on whos a better player? Common man.

I feel bad for Korver if his defensive assignments are going to be LeBron in the post and Wade on the wing.
  • The Boss
Oh and he hustles as well as any player in the league--don't think you can say that about Haywood. Don't get me wrong, I respect what Haywood does. But give credit where it's due, Anthony is a starter on what may very well be the best team in the league.

And he can't fucking hit shots. Bogans is way better option than him right now.

You're probably right, maybe if they were to play Dallas

Being a starter on the Heat isnt something to brag about. MIKE BIBBY starts for the Heat.

And Haywood is a 7 foot big body good defender. Who pulls down rebounds, and blocks shots at a higher clip than Anthony. Theyre both role players who can play D in the paint, and ok Anthony is able to guard a 4 too...but with Bosh in the game more times than not guess what? Hes gonna be playin the 5 and doin the same thing Haywood is...clogging the lane, blockng shots and outlet passing to start the break.

And oh yeah...if Haywood played for the Heat...id bet good money that hed be the starting Center...

No, but fans don't chant that for no reason. You're a fan, right? So your opinion is worth more than the other fans? They do it for a reason, because they appreciate what he does and they give him his props for it. And mainly it's because he doesn't get the headlines because he doesn't stuff the stat sheet. So the fans recognize this, turn him into a fan favorite and give him the appreciation he deserves. This has happened for many unsung heroes in the NBA, come on man. It's not a selling point, but it happens for a reason.
