And you don't? Nice spelling fail by the way...what a joke you are Rawdawg.

Supporting OSU and Pittsburgh is actually quite common. As I've said numerous times, Eastern Ohio is mostly Steeler fans. Then you have OSU, which is the largest state school in Ohio and just a 2 hour straight shot on 70W. People have family that attended OSU, leave to attend in Columbus, relocate there for work or other reasons, etc.

Of course some Cleveland fans have a hell of a time wrapping their brains around this.

There are plenty of Pitt fans who have no connection to OSU whatsoever and they still are OSU fans. If you are going to use the proximity argument when it comes to rooting for pittsburgh franchises, then you oughta be a U of Pitt fan as well.

I used proximity for pro sports reasoning. Regarding OSU, it is rather common for people from my area to migrate to central Ohio. Like I said, OSU is the largest STATE school. I don't know many people from Ohio that attended Pitt. Columbus is "far enough away, but close enough to home."

I'm going to be a Packers fan next season.

One of my old roommates is a Packer fan. His dad is a season ticket holder.

IMO reasoning is irrelevant. Check my post that it seems everyone has ignored. Nothing wrong with liking a sports team for whatever reason.

In truth, the people who call other people out for sports team loyalty are the same ones who are butthurt over some loss their team suffered or just pathetic play from the team.

I agree, I'm just making conversation.

I've realized that when one's team cannot get it done on the field, court, or whatever.....then they resort to attacking others "fandom." Its common with Cleveland fans, but can you blame them? It seems like nothing can go right.....and when it appear they might break through with some success...it all comes crashing down.
