Browns Fans Taunt LeBron at Miami Restaurant

Who says Browns fans aren’t refined?

It sounds like some of them were looking to break the stereotype that football fans don’t have class.

Imagine thirty of them in Miami at Chef Myles Chefetz’ Prime Italian for a bite to eat. The decor inside is really modern and impeccable. The wall of wine overlooks the eclectic red chairs that surround the spotless white table cloths with enough silverware and glassware to take down a seven course meal. In between courses of food – perhaps a prosciutto aged 500 days and sliced to order served with artisan cheeses and a Kobe beef carpaccio served with 100-year-old balsamic – these Browns fans notice LeBron James is at the restaurant, seated at a different table.
It probably didn’t happen like this at all, but I created my own scene after reading the NY Post. According to the Post, LeBron James and Maverick Carter were having a celebratory dinner at the restaurant. Maybe LeBron was mid bite of his Kobe meatball on the way to a 30 ounce $68 bone-in rib eye when the thirty Browns fans reportedly saw him and started chanting “traitor” over and over again.

Of course they were asked to leave. But thankfully Browns fans didn’t break any more stereotypes this night.

The Browns fans in question reportedly went outside into the warm Miami night. Given that these are the same people who brave the snow, wind and cold down at the Muni lot on a weekly basis, I am sure it wasn’t much of a sacrifice for them to wait in the balmy Miami night for James and Carter to finish their meal so they could harass him some more. The NY Post article finishes that James had to “sneak” into his car to avoid a confrontation.

These Browns fans were rewarded for their efforts the next day with a hard-fought win over the Miami Dolphins. That, my friends, is one heck of a road trip for a Cleveland sports fan. Let’s just hope they got kicked out before having to pay their bill. That is about the only thing I can think of that would make this story better.

    poor lebron...

the real question here is....did Lebron pay his bill and leave a tip? Allegedly in Cleveland he never did.

Why would anyone who lives in Miami ever visit Cleveland? Let's use some logic before typing next time.

I think it's time to give it up already.

LeBron dumped you like yesterday's new and then came back and kicked Cleveland's ass.

    Face it, you lose.

I love the name of the website. It's the same as the motto for Cleveland's pro sports teams.

When are the fans just gonna drop it? Hes not the first superstar to leave a franchise (only thing he did differently was the decision thing)

That's the truth of the matter.

You had your chance at redemption and failed.

First LeBron dumped your sorry asses and then he came back and humiliated Cleveland again.

This is pathetic to keep staying on this.

Better question is "when are fans who aren't of Cleveland teams going to stop giving a shit what Cleveland fans think..."

When every detail of his life and whats going on with the whole situation isnt discussed every 2 days. Hes gone, hes not coming back, you have a chance to rebuild. He's "pippen" and a "ring chaser" ect. we get it.

Kinda like pissing and moaning over every call in a football game.

Back to the topic of the thread. I'm glad the fans aren't letting it go and ruined his dinner though he probably liked the attn and I am sure the place comped his meal for the comotion. Just shows you the intensity Cleveland fans have, and I'm glad they didnt do anythign stupid like throw rocks or spit etc...

What...you're somehow forced to respond to something that you "get"? Like a friggin' moth to a flame? a lemming over a cliff?

It's called trolling in these parts

Sure is. The new system worked for about 5-6 days.

It's pretty simple. This is an Ohio based website. Most, who belong, are fans of Ohio teams. If you don't like the thread subject, don't read it. I don't read pittspuke threads for this very reason. I could care less what is posted on that subject.
