You'll all be jealous.
Once Belly, Oats, and believer hit a certain amount on the politics forum, can they have an Obama head placed by their name to signify their feat to the board?
In honor of all this, I've changed my custom user title to reflect the number of "OC"s that I feel I've earned...and given myself a couple of imitation chevrons (a lower-case V), as well. I eagerly await my certified letter. -
wes_mantoothI think it is pretty lame, but they are a business that is losing customers, so they are trying to win some people back. Can't fault them for that......but I can fault them for about a million other things.

Not going to paraphrase, but here you go (minus the actual lists of milestones):j_crazy wrote: can someon paraphrase for the JJ shunned that can't read that link.
For years JJHuddle members have been bragging about their post counts. And rightfully so. Now, though, you’ll have visual proof of your conquests too.
Starting today, JJHuddle is rewarding its premium members with “Varsity Letters.” How do you earn them? It’s easy – talk sports.
Every post you make on JJHuddle will be counted and displayed on the site like always. The key is now there will be “Awards” that accompany your username as well. As you accumulate more and more posts in the forums, you’ll be eligible for more letters and chevrons.
We’ll also be launching a “JJHuddle Leaderboard” that will show the all-time leaders in posts and the leaders for the current calendar year. Stay tuned as we put together prize packages for our leading posters each year as well.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your first chevron will be awarded after you’ve made 100 posts on JJHuddle. Your first letter will be awarded after you’ve made 600 posts, and it’ll be based on the forum where you post the most. If you post predominantly in the football forums, for instance, you’ll get a football letter for your first one.
After your first letter, you’ll continue to accumulate jackets and chevrons in order (see the list below).
Here’s a full breakdown of the milestones needed to get chevrons and jackets:
Once you earn a letter you lose your chevrons. They begin again with the next round of posts.
As you can see above, the first letter is the only one that will be determined by the forums you use the most. After that, you’ll receive the following letters in order:
Once you post enough to earn all eight letters…did we mention we’ll have a leaderboard? Annually and historically. -
gorocks99Prize packages for leading posters? That's gonna work.

Big Red MonsterHow desperate can they get?
I am glad I am not over there anymore. -
THE4RINGZI had not been over to the JJ site for a couple of months, but decided to log in today to see how many letters had been given out. I noticed that almost one half of my post count has been erased, thus eliminating me from a varsity letter.
Why did my posts go away? I never said anything bad about them or their website, so I am wondering why I am getting fucked again by JJ. Those theiving bastards took away the one thing I was living for, a varsity letter.
First I didn't get my magazines, and now I am stripped of my letter. Why in God's name would I ever fucking go back there again? -
Fab1bWhy would anyone go back?
-
SnotBubblesBECAUSE YOU GET A VARSITY LETTER! Fucking Duh! You big, dumb, bald asshole!
-
Fab1bLMAO

THE4RINGZI thought I would get my letter jacket and head over to the skating rink, sit on the hood of my car, and impress the ladies. Just like the good old days.

I thought for sure it was going to cost $12.justincredible wrote: There is a plugin for this forum software I could install that would give similar features. It's $9. -
CinciX12Oh fuck, its like Halo! I'm down.

osu99I now hate you for making me click and read on that site. Thanks!

I'm also one of their posterboys and I don't like it. I suppose I'll get sued or something. I never should have sent them my $12.enigmaax wrote:
And if you have the same name over there, they used you as an example of the "full jacket". You may want to watch your back, since you are their posterboy, its only a matter of time before you'll receive a certified letter from an attorney demanding you drop your name over here so as to not confuse the commoners.ManO'War wrote: I can't even go to JJ's anymore...with all those stupid ads loading it makes it painful. -

I would rather have one of his sister. She actually played football against my high school once.tk421 wrote: Unless our jackets have a picture of Nick Mangold on them, I don't want one. -

I don't know if your one chevron is worth their time. They'll probably just revoke it and offer it back to you for another $12.FairwoodKing wrote: I'm also one of their posterboys and I don't like it. I suppose I'll get sued or something. -
Tigerfan00I wonder how many letters AAF hands out to his family at christmas time.
Im sure all the Mike Clarks in the world will love getting those letters though. -
Cleveland BuckI like the idea of the Obama head for Politics posters. I would chuckle every time I saw Belly call Obama a Public Servant and see Barack's face next to his name.
