  According to several original members, This was never intended to be a HS Sports Forum. So, I guess I am as dumb as anyone else, not in the loop back then. I kind of thought it was?

  In the beginning I wasn't expecting this place to take off as quickly as it did so I was just trying to cling to the ST/I crowd.

  I haven't read anything and I know we all hate JJ, but the ST/I forum on JJ was at the bottom. Now, that might make people mad here("omgsh i have to SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN? FUCK YOU JUSTIN!!!"). However, it would put the sports forums in for ...uhh... prominence?

  I would love to talk HS sports, but no one would really care about St Thomas More or Comeaux HS (the 2 i follow here in Lafayette).
  
  Luckily kapono is an encyclopedia of knowledge so I text him regularly to keep up on PVC and SE ohio sports.
  
  FYI he's a member here, but only has internet on his phone (i.e. not at his house) and can't log on from the phone.

  Not trying to be a dick..just curious as to why those comments 'irked' you? I mean..that's how this site started...so why would that irk you? It was an alternative for the ST/I people to have instead of paying money.
  
  As for the HS forums..definitely would love to see more traffic..have tried word of mouth..but that hasn't taken off either. I'll wait until football season starts before I give a judgment on how much traffic there is there. I know at the end of the season last year...there was quite a few people on there.

  I dont know what to do about HS basketball. In the short time HS Football was still going when this site started up, it was doing very well, IMO. Both Pro and College forums are doing pretty well too. It seems HS basketball people just arent here. Isnt Wes handing out flyers this weekend at the state tournament?

  Yeah, he is. Hopefully that will get some people here.
  
  Are there any other places to "advertise" that wouldn't cost much money that are geared towards a HS sports crowd? I wonder how much an ad in the sports section of a newspaper would be, or if that is even an option.

  Probably depending on size maybe $50. That is a buyer's market right now. You could come up with some ad slick and let us take it around to check prices.
