Discovery Channel's Life

Fab1bFantastic! If you liked Planet Earth check out the new presentation called Life. DVR'd the first two episodes Sunday night and got around to watching them last night. Footage is amazing! Especially the first one with the tongues shooting out and grabbing insects from the lizards!
-
vball10setFab--what night(s) does it air?
-
Fab1bSundays with replays thru the week.
-
TBone14I saw a preview for it and forgot to set the DVR. Thanks for the reminder. I loved Planet Earth.
-
j_crazyhaven't seen the second one. episode 1 was cool as hell though.
-
The EqualizerThe dragons eating that water buffalo or whatever was just cool.
-
Fab1bThose komodo dragons f'd that water buffalo up!!
-
OneBuckeyeCool subject, but I can't stand oprahs voice.
-
gerb131Another great show on Discovery. That Planet Earth was fantastic and so far Life is good as well. I was reading it took some of the photographers like 4 or 5 years to get some shots. Considered buying it on blu ray.
-
redrocketI really enjoyed it so far, the photography is unreal. I would highly recommend it.

I do agree I am not an Oprah fan but the footage is so spectacular it really drowns her out!!OneBuckeye wrote: Cool subject, but I can't stand oprahs voice. -

Agreed. When the show first started I thought, "WTF? Why Oprah?" It almost turned me off. But I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.Fab1b wrote:

Thunder70The part in #1 about the dolphins and monkeys using "tools" and "strategies" was pretty incredible.
-
lhslep134Anyone know what time the re-runs will be? I'm back in Youngstown for spring break, and I'm gonna have my buddy who stayed in C-bus DVR them so we can watch them on my HDTV when I get back.
-
Scarlet_BuckeyeAHHHHHHHHH! CRAP! I forgot to DVR this. Does anyone know if you can watch it online at hulu.com or DiscoveryChannel?

hoops23These series always turn out even more spectacular on blu-ray..
Planet Earth and Earth both are some of the best looking blu-rays I've ever seen. -
WebsurfinbirdI forgot this was on. Thanks Fab for the reminder. I thought Planet Earth was amazing. I even bought the DVD set for my dad (at the time he didn't have cable and couldn't get the Discovery Channel). I will be sure to check this out.

tuskytuffguyWe were all glued to the tube Sunday for these shows. Discovery Channel is without a doubt the best channel to watch in HD.
