Clint Dempsey's Goal Yesterday
-
Upper90I feel like most soccer threads end up here. This is a fantastic goal, that his team needed at the time, which makes it even better. And, it was his first game back from injury. Dempsey should be in great form for the USMNT.
It's basketball time, but I've been watching this over and over on commercials. -
patriots34That is a great goal! I am glad he is back to seeing action, I knew he was injured and I never really heard if he would be fit for the world cup or not.

Laley23Here is a link of it with the greatest commentator alive, Ray Hudson.

Upper90I searched "Clint Dempsey", before I started this one, and did not see one. So....if there was one, I didn't see it.

You should search some Ray Hudson if you liked that call. My favorite ever was this (paraphrasing from last year)Upper90 wrote: "HE TAKES ACCOUNT OF EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE INTO CONSIDERATION HERE...."
haha, what a great call.
"Messi gets the ball on the wing, cuts inside and looks up to see Eto'o making a run. But Messi says, no! I dont need ya Sammy. No sir. This man needs help like a fish needs a bicycle. Simply amazing. What a little wizard this man is. Lionel Messi....make you smile at a funeral on Christmas." -
Laley23Here you go upper. I was a little off on the paraphrasing. It does cut off though. I watched this live and about fell out of my chair laughing.

They were up 3-1 at the time. Why did they need it?(not trying to be a dick)Upper90 wrote: This is a fantastic goal, that his team needed at the time, which makes it even better. -

Upper90No, makes sense to ask that....they were up 3-1 in the game, but they needed another goal to get ahead on the aggregate, to knock out Juventus, and advance in the Europa league. They came into the game down 3-1 in the aggregate, and before Dempsey scored, it was 4-4.
LOL and this is fantastic.Laley23 wrote: Here you go upper. I was a little off on the paraphrasing. It does cut off though. I watched this live and about fell out of my chair laughing.
