I Need Help!!!

  • baseball4
Alright guys, here's the deal. My buddy is getting married on New Year's Eve this year and we're trying to plan his Bachelor Party in downtown Columbus. We're getting a limo and planning on hitting up the bars down there. The thing is we need to find a hotel to crash at. I know there are a lot of hotels in downtown but we were thinking something along the lines of a suite. We're going to have probably 10-12 guys and we didn't want to have to get like 6 rooms. We wanted to find something huge that most if not all of us could stay in. Price isn't really an issue seeing as it will be split up between so many people. So, does anyone know of a place downtown that could accommodate this? Thanks for all of the help in advance!

I'd call around some of the bigger/nicer hotels and ask if they have a room for 10-12 people.

Try Olgelbay State Park in WV. They have huge cabins you can rent that sleep 8 to 12 people. Nice bars for bachelor parties in that area;););). Also there is a casino within 5 minutes from there.

If money is not an issue, I say go to Vegas.....there's all types of Hotels there.

Motel 6 will leave the light on for you.

If money isn't an issue, I'd try the Hyatt Regency next to the convention center. It's a big place, well managed, and can probably accommodate whatever you need as long as it's legal. :D

fbtank, the original plan was to go to Vegas but because the guy getting married has two underaged guys in his wedding he decided that he wanted to stay in town for it so that they could be there and be a part of it all.

Cat, I looked at the Hyatt's website and saw nothing about room sizes. We planned on being around the Arena District for the majority of the night so that would be a perfect place to stay if it can accommodate that many of us. I'll give them a call tomorrow, thank you.

The Lofts is your place . . . it is right across from the Arena District, by the Nationwide Building. It is connected to and run by the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Call the Lofts directly and ask for one of their 4 sweets that have the additional front room on them (you can't get these online, you have to ask for them). They go fast, but those rooms are enormous . . . . and can easily fit 10 to 12 people (assuming some are willing to sleep on a coach, chair, and maybe a few on the floor).

I think it's only about 150 a night for those suites.
