I have to admit

As much as I dislike Tiger, I miss watching him play. I'll, of course, get sick of seeing every shot he takes when he returns. I'll get sick of seeing him being a little baby when he hits a bad shot. I'll get sick of everyone shoving his dick down their throat when they talk about him..... but I miss seeing him play nonetheless. If golf could find a way to show the whole course instead of just Tiger, it'd be a great thing. And if Tiger can grow up, it'll be even better.

Dude can play. I watched about 9 holes he played at Firestone firsthand last year and it was insane. Especially on #16, most people were lucky to par with many bogeys and double-bogeys. Naturally Tiger convincingly birdies it. I can't wait to watch him again.

But yeah, it'll be doubly awesome if he's able to straighten his personal issues out.

I would love to be in the gallery at his first tournament. Can you imagine what is coming his way with insults and heckling??? I'm sure the TV broadcasters are going to have to turn down the crowd mics.

I miss him on the tour, he's just so good it pisses me off.

There does certainly exsist the possibilty of a giant train wreck when he returns so that will have interest for me as well. Then if it's bad, you'll have his climb back to the top drama...it'll be fun to watch.

I'm just not a Tiger fan.

Neither am I, but there's no questioning that he's the best golfer in the world right now.

Don't know. IMO Stricker would beat him tomorrow if they played.

Only one who'd give him a run is Villegas.
  • Be Nice
No. He would find a way to choke. Allenby could beat him. He's on a streak.

I don't think so.. This year I've seen a lot out of Villegas that we've never seen before. He's playing every shot in the bag; he's not falling back on his fade crutch. His game has matured greatly.. I think we'll see him win a lot this year.

^^^I do think Villegas will win again this year, but head to head with Tiger might be too much. If I could place odds on anyone to win and soon it would be Ricky Fowler. My son walked inside the ropes with him at Scarlet/Nationwide Tour (practice round) last year and talks to him at least twice a week. He just bought an Evo ( I think that's what he told my son) and has been playing 36 in Vegas every day. He is playing next week. My prediction is he'll have a win by August.

he's got a goofy swing tho.

Yea,but, he drops that right elbow against his side on the downswing and that puts him right back on plane.

right.. but I can imagine when he has swing issues, he goes thru hell trying to fix it. That's not a swing anyone is going to teach.. that's a homemade, grooved swing.

Learned it from his first and only pro. He's laid off at the top, but with his turn it's a very functional swing. We watched him and Kyle Stanley hit balls one evening and Kyle's swing is more upright and parallel. However, they both have great eye hand coordination and quick wrists. Rickies swing will last. Look at Furyk. His swing hasn;t changed and he more or less knows how to fix it when his timing is off.

I gotta be honest... if someone tried to get me to swing like that, I'd look elsewhere lol
  • Be Nice
BUT...if you could swing like that (Ricky), owned a condo in Vegas, have an endorsement deal with Puma and Titleist, be a chic magnet (however he is dating Olin Browne's daughter), play tour events (not courses in the Orrville area) and be rich and famous wouldn't you take that swing? lol

No, I'd still take Nicklaus' swing lol

You need to go to that liar liar thread. lol

I hope the Tiger uses what has happened to clean up his image on the course. That is the best thing that can come of this for sure. But I miss him and Phil tearing it up, and battling for a tournament. It will be nice to return things to normal.
