  My thoughts have always been if a pitcher can use a 90+ mph fastball as a weapon, why can't a hitter retaliate with a bat. Keep in mind I was a pitcher for about 7-8 years so this isn't coming strictly from a hitter's perspective.

  wow.... almost looked like they got order restored and then out of the blue all hell breaks loose....
  
  I don't know the situation here, but half the time anymore batters get pissed for nothing. You can tell when you've been drilled intentionally or not with a purpose pitch, and hitters anymore are so sensitive and think they've gotten beaned when in reality a guy just let one get away

  I never understood why a batter doesnt let a bat "slip" and fly towards a pitcher every once in a while! lol Bring back the pine tar.
