Kindof a dark horse pick, but I think Amy Lee from Evanescence has amazing chops, love her voice.

Definitely one of my favorites, along with Stevie Nicks. Luckily I have been able to see just about all the names mentioned here live.

She's very good. Too new to be GOAT, though.

I didn't really see any of them in their "prime" other than Amy Lee. I love Amy Lee's voice probably moreso than any of the others.

But I'm a HUGE Heart and Fleetwood Mac fan, but I saw each of them within the last 3 years.

I've been spoiled where I've been able to see a lot of concerts and have really good seats at most. But for the Fleetwood Mac and Heart concerts I had crappy seats so that takes away from the show.

I had good seats for the Pretenders, so as far as a show, that was probably my favorite, but it's based moreso on my seating than anything else.

(I've been in the front 5 rows for AC/DC and U2, and U2 is by far the best show I've ever seen.)

You have to get through the epic intro prior to the vocals.

Surpised that nobody has mentioned Pat Benetar yet.

I'd also like to throw in Mariah Carey, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood and Christina Aquilera.

Some other names that deserve mention, if not praise:
    Aretha Franklin
    Bessie Smith
    Etta James
    Tina Turner
    Diana Ross
  • Society
    Joss Stone
