Yeah, well one look at the traffic data graph on this one explains why you've been a recent mail recipient.

Why does "that" site get 7% of its hits from India?

Ha ha, I didn't update that site until now. From 67 days ago, it was estimated at 27K +, now it's at 11K +, no wonder they are pissed. :D:D
  • O-Trap
A lot of that is the fact that he's monetizing it, and because of the traffic.

Average monetization of the site: $6/day

This site was started mid-November, so we've had four months, basically, so 120 days.

    120 days x $6/day = $720

Not bad, Justin. Not bad at all.

And that doesn't include anyone buying from Amazon through your affiliate link.

I'll say that the numbers presented on websiteoutlook aren't quite accurate but the valuation is a lot more accurate than the $200k from the other site. Unfortunately. :)
  • O-Trap
    Haha

Do you need any help getting on really competitive affiliate networks? I have connections with a lot of them, and I can probably get you on there.

So - I waded through all 14 pages of this topic and I saw several URLs listed that could be the name.... but what is the new name or has it not been released yet?

Also - I apparently was banned over there too. Don't know when. About a month people on here were talking about being banned so I decided to try to logon to see if I could and no, I couldn't. I don't post on here often and don't believe I've posted anything negative about that site so it's pretty amusing that they apparently banned me. I have no idea why but whatever. But then essentially I've banned them as well - it's mutual bannation.
    :D

its a good thing you don't post much, cause you gave me a fucking headache.
  • gerb131
    Just glad its not counttoamillionbinarynumbers.com

  • jordo212000
Ok so what is going on in those graphs at website outlook? I've looked at them a few times and I am still clueless.
  • ytownfootball

Well, nothing since November, which is the point.

What the heck did I do to you? My post was certainly not longer than quite a few others so what's up? Why the attack on me?
  • j_crazy
not an attack G. too many bans, and maybe some confusing sentence structure. made me think to read it. I don't like that.
  • vball10set
muffy--don't take anything anybody says on here seriously--just laugh it off and keep on posting,'cause it's just a CF, a free-for-all :D

    Mutual Bannation!!! HAHAH LOVE IT!
  • Heretic
    www.mutualbannation.com is available!

While a lot of these suggested domain names are cute/funny whatever (I like a lot of them) I would imagine the best suggestions would be those that are linked to highly searched words/phrases that would best increase the forum base. That is assuming that is the intent. In which case I think we could put forth a little better effort in coming up with some.

    This.

If the goal is to grow the site and attract a wide audience, the name is a big deal. Can't be some inside joke.
  • OneBuckeye
Eh... I doubt this site will grow much if most talk remains to be based on general topics, pop culuture and pro and college sports. The reason why JJ grew is because of the local high school sport mini cultures. This site has no niche and you need one to grow, otherwise there are 10000000 sites that are the same. I for one am not sure this site should/could develop that niche. I wouldn't know what it would be except for high school and local ohio sports. In which case justin would have to make some serious changes to the site and some advertising or grassroots movement would have to take place.
