On the old jj, I posted two years ago that Blockbuster would be gone within 5 years. Looks like I was wrong, may be less than four years. -
UA5straightin2008lol at the ad's for this thread

KnightXC1Not that surprising with the popularity of netflix.

gerb131I have been hitting the Red Box as of late. I still frequent Blockbuster here and there though for PS3 games.

september63I watched the LBJ documentary online for free. The internet will kill the video places first, and then many of the newspapers will start going down.

GoChiefsPeople still rent?

GoChiefs
That's already started happening.september63 wrote: and then many of the newspapers will start going down. -
atomica600Just got done watching "Gamer". Why would I go to Blockbuster when I can order the movie "on demand" for about the same price? Seems like a no brainer.

eersandbeersI like going into a store and picking out a movie, but not for 4.99 a rental. Blockbuster hasn't adapted to the marketplace to keep up with popular rental services like Red Box and Netflix.
Their onlin selection of movies suck and I believe it is more expensive than Netflix. Their unlimited in-store rentals is something stupid like $30 a month.
