    Cliffs on the Knights?
It's a Catholic Fraternal organization. I'm not sure if they still have social memberships or not. If you're Catholic, I'd highly recommend it. If you're not, I know at one time they had social memberships that could get u into the bar/restaurant and golf and bowling leagues and other leagues.

yeah not catholic. The closest I get to Catholicism is the festival at the Catholic church once a year.

Actually here in Wooster the KofC bought the Moose Lodge building last year. Or should I say they somehow swapped buildings. The KofC is where the Moose used to be and vice versa.

All 3 you need to be nominated by a member. The VFW you need a veteran to nominate ya. VFW card was simple and just came in the mail. The Elks and Eagles involved induction ceremonies, which you need to be involved in to understand. The benefits of all clubs are signing up for drawings, benefit dinners, cheaper food and drink. Many opportunities to donate your time to raise money for others.

Plus, If you enjoy gambling every now and then. You have many tickets to choose from.

So with those do you always have to know someone and they have to nominate you to begin with or can you go and meet people and go from there?

The Elks is probably the most selective. The other 2 are easier. You do need a friend to be a member of any of them though, in order to even get in as a guest. Be a guest for a few visits and make some friends at any of them, is how to start. See which club you like and then ask around for someone to nominate ya.

I want some info on joining but I can't find much on the website. Also what is the difference between a chapter, lodge and family center?

You can PM me if this info isn't supposed to be public or something.
    Sent you a pm LJ

I applied to become a moose tonight. The money I'll save on eating and drinking there will pay for the membership dues.

What Moose Lodge did you apply at? Once you get in one, you can get into all of them... Port Clintons Lodge has some of the best walleye sammiches you ever tasted!!!

The Gahanna lodge will be my home lodge. Is the one in Port Clinton the one with giant bay windows overlooking the lake?

P.S. Didn't know you lived in my hometown hang_loose
