UA5straightin2008I need to make a resume to give out to doctors in hopes of getting and internship/shadowing/research gig this summer. I am a sophomore in college. Anyone got a good template i can use or no where to find one? i already tried google and didnt really have much luck, it was all too broad and not specific enough

These are pretty clean and professional. -
trackandccrunnerCheck on monster.com they have some job specific ones on there.
-
iclfan2I don't have a template but I have some advice. Keep it to one page!

This. Even if you have enough experiences to go on to a 2nd or a 3rd page, pair it and down and choose what's most important -
Con_AlmaAs opposed to listing an "Objective" at the top you might consider stating some skills that may bring value to the provider of the internship.
From the site the Sleeper gave...
Instead of this...
"OBJECTIVE
To obtain a corporate finance position that will utilize and advance my analytical, interpersonal, and general business skills."
Consider this...
I will bring a foundation of analytical, interpersonal, and general business skills to a potential finance position within your corporation.
Your goal with a resume is to get the interview. Tell them what you can do for them not what you are trying to get out of them. You can tell them what you are looking for or want once you get the interview. -
thedynasty1998Objectives are overrated, most times cover letters cover the objective.
Microsoft has several templates on Word that are fairly well done. -
j_crazyAs a college recruiter I can say that the cleaner you make it the better it is for you. instead of a paragraph describing your time with walmart, just list 1 line bullet points.
try to give more details on related positions you've held in the past. or give more details on your most recently held positions than a job you had 4 years ago. -
UA5straightin2008thanks for the info guys, much appreciated

HereticIf I were you, I'd use Mtrulz as a reference. It'd work on many levels!
