Love SVP in stunned silence for about 5 seconds.

Agreed that it sounded NOTHING like Westbrook though. Do they not screen these calls?

That was Captain Janks, who has been making prank calls and mentioning Stern's name for years.

    Some of this other work:

Anyone know if SVP talked about it on his show today?

LOL, that is funny. I still say ESPN isn't broke because people keep tunning in, but damn they need to get back to playing their A game.

    "So that worked out well."

I remember when Captain Janks nailed Dan Patrick with the "Do you like Howard Sterns buttcheese" comment when he was posing as Steve Bartmen. Bartmen actually contacted Janks and gave him a bunch of info because ESPN asks for it before they let them on the air to make sure its them, Im guessing someone gave Janks some of Westbrooks info also.

Yes Van Pelt discussed it on his radio show. He said if anyone is going to make fun of him it is going to be him. They showed on Monday how he fell off a chair during at the end of the Maryland win this weeknd.

I think I am missing the joke, did something happen to van pelt regarding this joke?
  • BORIStheCrusher
Add me to the list that wonders who in the hell at ESPN actually thought that was Westbrook?

SVP's stunned silence probably had to do with the fact that there were probably 14 producers yelling in his earpiece when it happened.

I remember someone from Howard Stern's show calling in during 9/11 saying they were someone who saw it all happen and then he proceeded to tell the news anchor at the time (Peter Jennngs I think) that Howard Stern thinks he's a dick. Things like this can be funny, but not at a time like 9/11.
