Did you get this information from Mr. Schmeiser himself, or did you come up with this conclusion just by reading wikipedia? I am not going to rehash points brought up in this documentary, but there is plenty of evidence elsewhere against what Monsanto is doing.
I find it funny that you think I base all my research off of wiki

What is "Monsanto doing?" I watched the documentary. They are suing people over breaking patent laws and breaking contracts. Lawsuits of the sort have been going on for many years before Monsanto started doing it.
Please show me where I said that you base ALL of your research off of wiki?

Are you that stupid or just that arrogant? Answer this. Dr. J? Who the fuck is this anyways? Please! What the fuck has she done? Nothing. Please do not quote her in your examples. Congrats on the degree for her. Until she has done extensive research for herself, not just "searching for hours" on the subject, leave her "name" out of the discussion.
Hmm. What has she done? 4 years of food animal studies leading to a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has asked other vets who are world leading in food animal research at The Ohio State University as well as searched Veterinary resources for hours and there is absolutely nothing to substantiate this claim. Go ahead and listen to a movie. You obviously don't care what I have to say, so go ahead and believe anything you want to believe. You are a big boy. Thanks for trying to start and argument. Have a good day.

I'm not going to listen to some unsubstantiated claim that has 0 research to back it up because it was in a anti-agribusiness propagandist movie.

If you want to say she knows nothing, how about you post a source stating otherwise?
Like I said. Congrats on her degree. I am sure she will do wonders for this world(how do I quote a sarcasm alert?). You, on the other hand, others have said it very well, in not only this thread, but others as well, is someone that cannot be argued with. That is laughable. This is where you say everything against your believe is laughable, as well.

All Hail Dr. J. Whoever the bitch is.
You really just called my gf a bitch? Real cool. Glad you are showing your maturity.

BTW, all she said is that there is no research so substantiate the claim made in the movie. NONE. So, would you like to talk about the movie or just continue to attack me rather than the actual facts?!

I'm not going to argue with society. If he wants to he can post sources. There is no sense is debating with someone who has watched a movie vs sources in the actual field being talked about.
Once again, you are hanging off of your girlfriends nuts, which is very possible, that you have no knowledge about than the average person.

My point is, can you deattach yourself from the documentary? Obviously, if you are slow, it doesn't portray every instance, which I am sure doesn't fancy your position of the all mighty.

My point is, there are no published studies stating that xx% of e-coli leaves a cow's body when it is taken off of corn. This thread is about the movie. I stated what I knew about the movie from research I have done and people I have talked to. So, if we are not talking about a claim that was made in the movie that has nothing to substantiate it, what is it we are talking about, since you know, you decided to go off an attack my gf, who honestly, I will be arrogant about this, knows more about Food Animal Health than anyone on this website. Including you and me.

FYI, this doesn't answer your question but I guess it's related: http://www.news.cornell.edu/releases/Sept98/acid.relief.hrs.html . It's an old study though, and I don't have access to the journals to read what is actually there.

Acid relief is a very well known technique and no one has ever denied that.

I think the whole point was that no one has ever come out and said "acid relief for x amount of time gets rid of xx% of e-coli".

It's like saying cutting sugar for 1 day will cause every human to lose 5 lbs.

On the other hand, saying, cutting your daily sugar intake can help a human lose weight

All I ever did was call out the first, not the 2nd.
"Grain does not specifically promote the growth of E. coli O157:H7, but it increases the chance that at least some E. coli could pass through the gastric stomach of humans," Russell says.
Basically, all I ever said is that the movie made an unsubstantiated claim, which is true.

Here is good info. Basically "shedding" E-Coli would mean that they have an infection level
Hay-fed (grass or alfalfa) cattle shed fecal E. coli O157:H7 longer than grain-fed cattle (Fig. ?(Fig.1).1FIG. 1). All animals were culture positive for E. coli O157:H7 24 h after inoculation. All animals remained healthy, and the concentration of fecal E. coli O157:H7 gradually decreased, until each animal became culture negative for the bacteria. Regardless of their diet, animals shed similar titers of fecal E. coli O157:H7 that ranged from 7.1 × 106 CFU/g of feces to levels detectable only by selective enrichment culture (<102 CFU/g of feces). The average duration grain-fed cattle were culture positive was 4 days. In contrast, cattle fed either alfalfa or grass hay diets shed fecal E. coli O157:H7 for longer times, averaging 39 and 42 days, respectively. The difference between the durations that grain-fed and hay-fed (grass or alfalfa) cattle were culture positive was highly significant (paired t test; P = 0.0004).
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC91480/

In other words, that is saying that Hay Fed cattle are infected with E-Coli longer, which would go completely against what was said in the movie.

Beyond the movie the rest of the study is really interesting, but as it pertains to the movie, that was a total lie.

It makes me wonder if the movie meant "acid-resistant" e-coli
