  1) Wrappers are inedidble. As a matter of fact, most are foil. Have you ever chewed on foil? It has some reaction with your teeth and....arghhh....I'm going crazy typing it/thinking about it....
  
  2) It gets in the way of the chocolate. Therefore it's a nuisance and you don't get to enjoy the chocolate quickly enough.
