  I wanna feel bad for this story but why the heck didn't they either jump into the creek or onto the other track next to it? Makes no sense.

  my gut feeling after reading this is that the boy had something to do with it (i.e. tied them down old-school villian style) or they wanted to kill themselves...makes no sense not to jump off the bridge if a trains coming at you

  Sad story... bud I never understood how in the hell you get hit by a train. Seriously? What's the top speed on one? 45 MPH? There is a reason the term "Sounded like a freight train," is used. I don't get how you can't hear it coming atleast a few minutes before it reaches you.

  Don't feel sorry. Only someone purposely trying to kill themselves or just plain stupid people get hit by trains. It's not like the train is going to swerve and hit you. Stay off the freaking tracks.

  I like walking down train tracks. I'm also not stupid enough to stay anywhere near them if there is a train coming (I'm not deaf so it isn't gonna sneak up on me).

  45 mph? LOL, as someone who used to work for the railroad, I know that trains can get up to 60 mph (freight) and passenger can get up to 80 mph.
