  Yeah, the topic can be discussed. I just would like people to discuss this case (whether by itself or in comparison to others) with some semblance of intelligence and maturity and without attacking each other due to a difference of opinion.

  I agree, although I did find it hilarious that people would say unrelated irrelevant things then not be able to back up what they said.

  What I'm saying wiggin is that the Pittsburgh area has experienced alot of cop killings over the last year or so. The situation last night only proves my point. This scumbag was ready and willing to shoot her point blank in the head. A malfunctioning gun is the only thing that saved her life. So when you get on here and call these brave individuals pigs, yes I take exception to it.

  Good luck with that. Any time race is discussed on this website, a few people make ignorant comments, then the whole thread is ruined.

  I understand, but the use of "pig" probably wasn't the best idea considering it's a thread concerning alleged police brutality. From my experience on the old huddle, that's a very hot-button topic where people will ignore any legitimate points and just focus on dumb shit like that.

  This topic doesn't need to be about race...it's alleged police brutality regardless. But on the first thread, a lot of posts seemed to focus on it. And oftentimes in a far more obnoxious form than just mentioning the victim is black, as the thread title did.

  Do not let another case judge others, if you were able to apply what happened at X to what happened at Y, you would just be on a slippery slope, I could say that the cop in your case acted incorrectly because one time a cop planted evidence in another case. It doesnt work like that.
  
  And Brave to me isnt 3 cops beating 1 person. I could mention some stories of getting harassed by cops, thats my opinion of the ones that harassed me and the ones in this case, but it doesnt mean I think that way of them all.
  
  And in the other topic as well, I didnt even mention the race in any of my posts so ya, I hope it doesnt get into this topic either.

  From what I've read, these particular officers have not yet been charged with a crime..... investigation continues.
  
  I prefer to wait until all available facts are available before weighing in on one side or the other.

  I wonder that also. But why does it have to be in title in the article, and why are the mother's quotes about race? If the article is telling the whole story, the officers should be disciplined. However, they deservie to have an investigation to determine the entire story.

I never mentioned race in ANY of my posts, that was you equating a term like pigs, used to designate a job to the N word, which is used for a race, like a fool. First of all, predictably, I love how you didnt even answer the question I asked, not surprising consider the dumb things you posted in the other topic, secondly, apparently the cops did not say they were cops because they were undercover.

  I answered your question. See if 3 cops are chasing you, they are telling you they are cops and to freeze. He didn't listen and he got his ass beat.   Ok for one, they didnt identify themselves as cops and they didnt look like cops because they were in plainclothes. And if you actually read what I said, you wouldve seen that I didnt ask what would you do if 3 COPS chased you, I asked what would you do if 3 regular people chased you.   I can't not understand how 3 cops were not chasing him when they are in fact cops. Cops want to go home to their families like everyone else. They are not going to chase a person who they think might have gun with out trying to get the person to talk to them first. Quit making excuses because the kid couldn't listen to what the cops were saying. The cops did what was right. More people in this country need to be beat like that.

  Three undercover cops with guns should not have to get close enough to even have to swing one blow, escpecially if they feel the perp has a weapon. If they were afraid for their saftey, they could have drawn their weapon, announced themselves as police, and I'm sure the boy would have stopped. Also, I lived in Cleveland and here our undercover cars have lghts and sirens, they couldn't have blurped him and flashed their lights.
