    One you can afford.

    I live in an area with a bunch of old townhouses and people are driving around BMWs and Mercedes. Save and buy a house! I know what some of them do and they in no way should be buying these cars. End rant.

    I live in a neighborhood with brand new houses and know at least 1 family who hasn't made a house payment since december. Both people drive (< 2 yr old) Land Rovers.

    I drive a corolla homie, gotta make them mortgage payments.

    Not every one buys a car to resell it. I owned a Lincoln Navigator that I put 200,000 plus miles on and drove it until I wore it out.

    I don't buy cars based on resale. I couldn't care any less what the resale of my cars are...nor my house for that matter.
