Lunch in Akron

  • Drums of War
Anyone know of any good lunch specials in Akron? Tired of eating at the same old places, but don't want to break the bank, just the routine.

What part of Akron are you looking in?

    Where do you normally go?

From Downtown west on Market. I usually hit Barley house for the burger specials, Subway, Arbys, Occasionally Rocknee's. Just tired of the same old crap. I refuse to go to the Quiznos near Swensons anymore. They are poorly run, and always out of everything. I heard the owners fighting about paying suppliers one day. Who knows what is going on there.

There is a nice little place in Copley on the corner of Cleveland Massilon and Copley Road. Good food, service is a little slow.

I was going to mention Rockne's but nevermind since you already go there. Go into Fairlawn and get Five Guys!

Mix some chipotle and chineese food into that rotation.

I am already fat. Are you trying to kill me? I love that the grease from the fries soak right through the bag. "Would you like a side of corinary arrest with your Burger Sir?"

Is it associated with the one in Independence? We ate there once and it was quite good. The one here is only about a mile from my office. And, no, it is not a huge priority to me, but the 5 guys take grease to a whole new level!

Yep, looks like they got them all over the place.

I know it is not the type of place you would think to get it, but I had the Chicken CHili there and it was really good. It was a bit different because of the Med. spices they added, but I might just make a trip over there.

I've been to one in c-bus several times and its good. Haven't made it to the akron one but I assume it would be similar. Let me know what you think of it.

Luigi's has by far the best salads and pizza in Akron. That's where I'd go.
