Lost 2/9 "What Kate Does"
-
ohiotiger33It was Mac from Its always sunny in philadelphia. He was on a season three episode (which he alluded to) after meeting the executive producers of lost (Cuse and Lindeloff). When he met them, he said he was a huge fan of theirs, and they loved him, so they offered him a speaking cameo. I just think it is hilarious that they brought him back, and his character seemed exactly like mac in every way, haha.

SonofanumpSayid is alive, is name is still up on the wall.
04-John Locke (Dead)
08-Hugo "Hurley" Reyes
15-James "Sawyer" Ford
16-Sayid Hassan Jarrah
23-Jack Shephard
42-Kwon, Sun or Jin -
ohiotiger33Maybe. But evil locke had to cross Lockes name off, maybe he just doesn't know about sayid yet.
-
SonofanumpThose left have three choices:
1.) Stay until your 'crossed out'
2.) Take over and become the new 'Jacob'
3.) Leave the island.
Esau Locke needs to complete 1 & 3 so he can keep the island.
My theory: Ben has killed Locke and Jacob. Maybe those who fit the special candidate list can only be killed by someone who fits the loophole. -
killer_ewokWhy wasn't Austen up there for Kate?
-

Yeah, my first reaction.killer_ewok wrote: Why wasn't Austen up there for Kate?
Interesting... -
jtownclassicsShe's not one of the candidates
-
ohiotiger33One thing is for certain. The writers still have it. What a fantastic episode. It was full of great dialogue, and some truly funny parts.
-
bigdaddy2003The writers are great. I just hope they pull it all together before the end of the season.

I'm trying to remember, but I believe Jacob never visited her. Correct?jtownclassics wrote: She's not one of the candidates -

He visited her when she was young and tried to steal from a store. I believe he paid for it. Tonight's episode answered alot of questions, while creating new ones. Who is the young boy running around. Why did he say "you can't kill him." And who was he referring to, James Ford aka Sawyer or Jacob or who?ptown_trojans_1 wrote:

jtownclassicsI'm guessing the young boy is Jacob, and the "him" he is referring to is Sawyer, as he is one of the candidates.

That is right, thanks.dwccrew wrote:

I have no clue about the boy. -
swamisezPretty sure Jacob put his hands on Kate's shoulders when she was little when he asked her if she was going to steal again.
She should be up there, but obviously something happened. Who knows what her fate will be. -
dwccrewDon't ask me why, but I have been thinking Jacob is actually the "bad guy" since last season's finale. I think this Esau guy will end up not being as bad as we think and Jacob will not be as good as we think.
I could be wrong, but this is one theory of mine. This show makes you have about 30 different theories. -

Honestly, I think Kwon will be Jin. No woman was listed up there, which is why I think Kate wasn't listed. The protector of the island has to be a man I think. So Kwon will end up being Jin.swamisez wrote: Pretty sure Jacob put his hands on Kate's shoulders when she was little when he asked her if she was going to steal again.

swamisezI could see Hurley as the protector of the island since he believes in Jacob. It would only be fitting that the guy who thinks he is cursed saves the island from whatever it needs saving from.
-
bigdaddy2003So what did everyone think of last night's episode?
-
ohiotiger33I really liked it. The alternate timeline with Jack was surprisingly moving (Fox is a great actor) and I liked the development on the island. Them showing the Adam and Eve skeletons in the cave was such a tease! Until they answer that of course.
-
bigdaddy2003So where do you think they going with the alternate timeline?
-
patriots34I have been really disappointed so far this season, every week the previews claim to have answers but there haven't been any answers so far, I am more confused than ever. I still have high hopes for the rest of the season though because it will all come together in the end, I just don't think the season so far has been up the extremely high expectations I had at the end of last season

I am in agreement. The shows have been good but not what I expected. They are bringing in new characters and just confusing everybody lol. Anyways I hope they tie it all together.patriots34 wrote: I have been really disappointed so far this season, every week the previews claim to have answers but there haven't been any answers so far, I am more confused than ever. SonofanumpThe flow of the alternate timeline worked well, I just did not get many questions answered.
-
ohiotiger33They cannot answer the questions yet. They can't "blow their load" this early. The allure of the show are the questions it creates. There are still 12 hours; they will give answers.
The alternate timeline I believe will merge with the island timeline. There are hints of this, as Jack had a strange moment with his appendix scar, as if he remembered trying to take it out himself on the island. I am sure they have it there for a reason though. -
KnightXC1^^ Correct. They have answered some things (smoke monster for instance) but they can't reveal everything right away. Each week builds a little more, such as last night where we found out Jacob has been watching the people from the crash for a long time and that Claire is diseased and working with the man in black aka Locke. Not the best episode but with how little they showed for next week, hopefully they have something big planned.
