Ever watched something you didn't care to watch b/c the remote was nowhere in sight?

  I keep good enough track of my remotes that this doesn't happen, but there have been times where I've felt tired and laid down on a couch to watch something and semi-doze off. What I was watched ends and something I don't care about comes on, but the remote's out of arm's reach...so I just live with it because there's no way I'm getting up to get the remote when I'm half awake.

  I can't imagine watching TV as much as some folks on here do. I wouldn't just watch whatever was on if I didn't have a remote. I don't even turn the TV on unless I am going to watch a specific program. We put the channel on that respective station. When it's over the TV goes back off. We don't eve need a remote really.
