Automakers

Scarlet_BuckeyeWho are your top three automakers and your bottom three automakers.
For instance, before their recall, Toyota would probably have been lumped in with GM and maybe Ford as the top three automakers in the world, right?
Well... who are the bottom three (and who would you now consider to be the top three)? -
ZWICK 4 PREZ1. Ford
2. GM
3. Chrysler
Bottom
Everyone else. -

Zwick can you please help me out... I really am more interested in who your "bottom three" are. ThanksZWICK 4 PREZ wrote: 1. Ford

Bottom (1 being the worst)

3. Suzuki
And in all honesty, I'd put Honda or Toyota above Chrysler. -

ZWICK 4 PREZI can see Audi or BMW, but I just can't get with Mercedes. For their prices, they've NEVER impressed me. If I was going for strictly a high end model, it'd be Lexus (Toyota)... their quality assurance practices blow everyone else outta the water, and it's not even really that close.

Thanks Zwick. Much appreciated. (There's a reason for my madness I can assure you)ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote:

What are your thoughts then about their two recent ginormous recalls?ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote: I can see Audi or BMW, but I just can't get with Mercedes. For their prices, they've NEVER impressed me. My thoughts are you won't see any on Lexus' b/c that's their baby. Only on their high production vehicles.Scarlet_Buckeye wrote:

I think that's a valid point.ZWICK 4 PREZ wrote:

cbus4lifeWhat do you guys think of Subaru?
My family, and now myself, have owned nothing but Subarus for as long as i can remember, and we've never had a problem, incredibly reliable and long-lasting, great service, great company, etc.
But, i don't see them mentioned too much on the "favorite or least favorite" car threads.
My parents have had two Forresters go well above 200,000 miles and still perform wonderfully. My brother just passed the 200,000 mark on his Outback, and it is still in great shape. Etc., etc.
I know they aren't as "big" as other companies, but i think they've got to be as good as anybody out there, at the moment. -
gorocks99I think a lot of lesbians drive Subarus. Seriously. Not a knock on your fam, but an observation. They seems to be very lesbian-friendly cars for whatever reason.

I think they have tremendous brand loyalty from their consumers due to very good buyer's experience. Where they fail is in cosmetic styling and marketing. -

Yea, i would tend to agree. Though, they did seem to try and upgrade the "cosmetics" with the 2010 models. Not sure if they succeeded, though.Con_Alma wrote:cbus4life wrote: What do you guys think of Subaru?
