Winter Storm watch for most of Ohio...per NWS Cleveland
The real story with this storm looks to be the 30+ MPH winds that will follow this storm on Wednesday, creating near blizzard conditions, particularly in NW Ohio.THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING.
LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE INTO THE LOWER OHIO VALLEY AREA LATE
TONIGHT. IT WILL THEN MOVE NORTHEAST AND DEEPEN AS IT MOVES TOWARD
THE LOWER GREAT LAKE REGION TUESDAY NIGHT...AND THEN TO THE EAST
COAST ON WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD INTO NORTHWEST OHIO
TUESDAY MORNING OVERSPREADING THE REST OF NORTHERN OHIO BY EARLY
AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY COULD BE IN THE
6 TO 10 INCH RANGE. WINDY CONDITIONS WILL ALSO LIKELY DEVELOP
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY CAUSING BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
Take the 6-12 we already have, add another 6-10 and 30 mph winds, and things could get real ugly mid-week. -
HitsRusIt sounds like it could be worse than Friday's storm because of the wind....and it's midweek when everyone is trying to get to school or work.
-
just_a_swimmerI know one thing. If it is bad I am not working. Vacation for me. I just can't take another 4 hour car ride to go 60 miles. Just can't do it.

I think this will be the case...we got 8-9 inches Friday night and by mid-Saturday afternoon, most of of the main roads in Morrow county were in decent shape. Side roads were bad but the heavily traveled state and county roads were decent.HitsRus wrote: It sounds like it could be worse than Friday's storm because of the wind....and it's midweek when everyone is trying to get to school or work.
I'm not sure this will be the case with this one. Wednesday's commute to and from work looks like it could be bad because of blowing and drifting, and Thursday might not be much better. -
raiderbuckGood, I'll gladly take it. I need to catch up on some sleep lol. Snowfall makes me sleepy
-
FidmeisterFuck. I just got done shovelling yesterday.

We had a delay this morning, but I'm home with my sick daughter. Not real sure why anyone would cancel in our area, but I don't get paid to make that call.ccrunner609 wrote: Have no idea why I was called off today but looks like schools will be closed at least one more day this week if not 2
Tomorrow will be an interesting call...Wednesday looks like the most likely candidate for a snow day...maybe Thursday as well. -
power iMaybe this time around I can get something done.
