dwccrewSounds like one of the troopers was driving eradically as they lost control. Senseless. Prayers
-
WebFirekilldeer you may know where this happened. TH 95 and 47, east of Wharton. If you know the area, there is a funky intersection there where you have to stop twice, and the crossing traffic has a curve.

gerb131Just reading about this as well. Been a rough few weeks for the patrol to say the least.

Just saying that in the article you posted it said they lost control of the vehicle, which leads me to believe that they were driving very fast when they probably didn't need to. I've seen cops do this on occassion.WebFire wrote:

Just my assumptions, I could be way off. -
imex99It say's responding to an accident, so most likely going with lights and sirens at a higher rate of speed...
Prayers should be the only comments on this matter!!! -

Sad to have anyone lives cut short.. -
dwccrew^^^Agreed, besides killers, rapists and child abusers. But I understand your point.

Go_Fast_SportsReminds me of the Trooper who flew past me the other night at a speed over over 85mph in a 40 around a curve.... He gunned it to beat me to the 2 lanes change into 1 lane intersection... and had NO LIGHTS OR SIREN ON!!! I was pissed!!

Driving very fast when they probably didn't need to? They were responding to a back-up call from a deputy sheriff who was himself responding to a call of a possible home invasion! Let me ask you a question, how fast would you want the cops to get there if it was your home? -

Just fast enough so they don't wreck their car on the way.matdad wrote:dwccrew wrote:

WebFirekilldeer, this was not on 47 as I was told, but closer to Carey on 95.
