2010 Winter Olympics--Vancouver, BC
-
tk421Hannah Teter in first for the U.S.
-
tk421Big wipe out for another U.S. rider.
-
tk421A lot of falls so far. Australian rider falls.
-
tk421Torah Bright in first for Australia with a 45. Hard to beat that for the U.S.
-
tk421Wow, tough break for U.S. Another rider wipes out.
-
tk421The Americans aren't doing to good in the half pipe. Second rider down in their last run.
-
tk421Okay run for Clark. Gets a 42.2. Currently in 3rd.
-
tk421Last American up next. Currently in 2nd.
-
tk421Teter probably not enough for the gold. U.S. will get the Silver and Bronze. Yeah, official. U.S. gets 2, but not the gold.
-
tk421Men's figure skating on now.
-
ptown_trojans_1Canada just barely barely beat the Swiss in a shootout. Crosby got the goal in the shootout in the 4th try. The Swiss simply outplayed Canada the 2nd and 3rd.

no, I don't think so.tk421 wrote: I don't really know anything about curling, but was the U.S. expected to medal?
it's just frustrating to watch both skips falter in the clutch time and time again. They've made some really nice shots at times but their mistakes are always huge and when the game is on the line they always mess up....and some of those were on fairly easy attempts
very disappointing to see Gretchen fall both times in the halfpipe -
eersandbeersGretchen might have had the gold had she landed that. She hit the most difficult trick of the run and then faltered on the easy one.
-
tk42117 total medals so far for the U.S. Germany in second with 11. Not bad for about a week, so far.
-
NOL fangood free skate score by the American
a lot of the stuff these guys can do (mainly the jumps) is pretty damn impressive. It's just too bad they have to gay it up so much with all the dancing and flashy crap -
tk421U.S. currently in 1st for Men's skating.
-
NOL fanwe're going to get at least one medal, still in first with 2 to go (including one more American)
-
tk421Figure skating may not be some people's thing, but they can really jump.
-
tk421Weir with a huge program. Wow, that's only 5th place? This is why I don't get these kinds of events. Judging.
-
tk421Plashenko the last skater. U.S. guaranteed at least a silver medal.
-
chicago510Weir deserved better than 5th, well 6th after this Russian goes.
-
tk421There always seems to be some kind of controversy with skating. This Russian doesn't look like he's doing as good as the American in 1st.
-
tk421Plushenko in 2nd. U.S. wins the gold. Wow, I thought for sure they would screw us with the scoring.
-
LJTake that Russia
