    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That's the one that the article referenced, sage.

I don't know if I agree with the argument, but that's the cover in question.

I see those as different though, the guy has goggles on, looking forward.

That's true. The pose is similar, but I felt like a lot of the outrage was due to how she was posed facing the camera, in the sense that if it were a man, that would not be the case.

    I probably agree.

I find most feminists would be better served to just shut the fuck up.

    Stupid people.

This is so stupid I don't even know what to say, for those of us that had sex the A.J. Kitt position is in one sense MORE sexual, its not as if you can see your partners' face in that position, and Vonn's stance is so closed in sex is practically impossible.

The women I ski with all felt that "HEAD" on the boots was very demeaning and intentionally provocative.

How can she ski if there is no kitchen on those mountains?

Speaking as a female, I found nothing offensive about the cover. I think it was a great action shot of a beautiful, athletic woman who obviously loves her sport.

Maybe they do need to feature more female athletes, but SI is geared towards men and thus focuses on male-oriented sports, so it makes sense that most of their coverage would be of male athletes.

Women (and men) who want to see more coverage of female athletes should read publications that focus on this area.
