a reds pitcher holds the record at 9 mins and change, now thats insaneironman02 wrote: Yeah, 32 minutes for that meal is just insane.
Unbelievable that he finished it that quickly. -
ironman02haha. Definitely.
Do you know which pitcher it was? -
End of LineTonight's episode really isn't all that great.
-
ironman02Yeah, I agree. Not so sure the live episode is the way to go for this show.
Probably something they won't be doing all that often, or at all, in the future. -
Bio-HazzzzardThe commentators in the hall of fame jackets are douches
-
End of LineFor real.

Looks like Joey Chestnut dethroned Pastore. -
End of LineHe really needs to lose the leather jacket..........
-
ironman02The inside of the steak looks awful.
-
DESCENTdmc
that doesnt suprise me one bit. chestnut is a bottomless pit. did you see the episode of man vs food where he made a guest appearence at one of the non challenge restaurants and at the 5lb 17inch burrito in like 3minsironman02 wrote: http://townhall.com/columnists/FrankPastore/2008/03/25/i_held_the_big_texan_steak_record_for_21_years,_until_last_night?page=2

ironman02Yeah, he devoured that burrito like it was nothing. That was ridiculous!
-
ironman02And he's done in about 16:37.
-
End of LinePretty easy challenge in my book.
-
dazedconfusedthe commentators had me rolling...i hope they were joking lol
-
THE4RINGZBetter than I expected.
Easy challenge.
The commentators were douche bags, but I think they were trying to overplay their announcer position. -
DeyDurkie5I couldn't sit and watch the episode..To corny and retarded in my opinion which was definitely a letdown. Only reason they did Shula was to get his place some airtime, probably could have gotten a more ridiculous challenge seeing as it is Miami
-
The Giss
The commentators are the two brothers who run Major League Eating (MLE) and International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE)-- the promote the Nathans July 4 hot dog contest, among others. Their involvement also explains Chesnutt's recent appearances.dazedconfused wrote: the commentators had me rolling...i hope they were joking lol -

Well...It WAS Miami, over SB weekend....so I can totally see why they did that Shula challenge. Made total sense to me.DeyDurkie5 wrote: I couldn't sit and watch the episode..To corny and retarded in my opinion which was definitely a letdown. It was a bit awkward how they did it but I kinda got used to it.
Was that younger Shula the one that used to caoch teh Bengals? If so...still my fav line on radio when Andy Furman, then of WLW 700 in Cincy, said Shulas only qualification for that job was he was "Sperm lucky" -
THE4RINGZIt will be interesting to see if thye plan one for next year. Any live show like that is hard to pull off.
-
stroupsI heard he said something about feeling like an oreo when he was standing in between Dhani Jones and Keith Rivers. Did anybody else catch that?
-
THE4RINGZYes. Best line of the show.
-
WebsurfinbirdTried watching it, but got pretty bored. They definitely did not need two hours for that.
