  Textbooks are pretty freakin ridiculous. No sense in college bookstores raping already broke college kids.

  Text books fall into that category that (in many cases) has a third party payer that usually translates to higher costs. It's BS, and you are over a barrel.

  half.com and amazon are great sites if you're looking to save money. I can usually sell the books I bought online to the bookstores for more money then I originally paid.
