Favorite Olympics: Summer or Winter Games?

  Which ones do you like more, summer or winter?
  
  For me, visually, I gotta say summer is better, just given the (female) skin factor. But I have always liked watching the skiing a lot too. No doubt some like snotbubbles are torn between mens gymnastics and figure skating.

  You know, I'm not even sure what it is, but I think my childhood memories of watching the summer games are just better, so I automatically think of the summer Olympics in a positive light.
  
  OR ... it might have to do with the fact that when I watch the summer games, I'm not freezing my balls off.

  I used to be a professional figure skater, so you can imagine that I prefer the Winter Games. I actually did a show with Scott Hamilton many years ago. I also played hockey and did some skiing in my youth. I had hip replacement surgery about a year ago, so I am not able to participate in ice and snow games any more.

  Olympics is great...both;
  however track and field and swimming are the basics that the Olympics were built around... so gotta go Summer.

  I love figure skating but overall I prefer the Summer Olympics.

  I like the winter olympics too. I will watch as much as I can but my favorite is summer.

  I'm a winter person. I enjoy the Winter Olympics much more. Always been partial to the cold and snow.

  I have a bone to pick with NBC over the coverage of the USA/Canada hockey game, instead of it being shown on NBC in primetime it will be shown on MSNBC. They have decided that Ice dancing is more appealing. What a bunch of horse shit.

  Summer by a land slide, almost all of my favorite sports participate in the summer games. I have no interest in hockey, or figure skating at all, the only event in the winter I really like is downhill skiing.

  Summer for me. The basketball, track and field finals, and swimming keep me glued to my TV. Hopefully the golf will be good.

  Summer for me as well. Wrestling, Swimming, Track and Field, Beach Volleyball, etc..however I will still watch the hell out of the winter games!

  I like Summer more as a whole but Winter has some great events that I enjoy (Hockey, bobsledding, skeleton, and ski jumping)
