I know I should get some good stories on this. I have done it numerous of times. Some were good and some were bad. Tell me about your experience.

I met Mantooth (along with some other huddlers), and I'm pretty sure that he paid the waitress at Thurmans to drip some Goose in my cola, to get me good and drunk.

I met my gf on a dating website.

Online dating is a lot of fun if you are good at figuring people out just from IM and phone conversations.

You're lucky he didn't roofie you, Upper. I should have learned my lesson the first 4 times.

I've met a lot of Huddlers in person and a few members of the Cavfanatic website I post on. All good people and I don't care if others think I'm a weirdo for meeting them.

And yes I stalked my current boyfriend on here and on the Book before we met in person a couple months ago, lol. I saw his pic and decided we had to meet...I'm not ashamed, haha. Luckily it worked out and now we are in a great relationship :)

Yes, a few people from a chat room about 10 years ago. We had a big old party in C-Bus. I've met 4 huddlers before in Cincy, and a few ex-huddlers from JJ's at some wrestling meets. As far as meeting a woman online, No. I already had my woman before I had the interwebz.

I also met this chick from L.A. (Lancaster) on the List when I sold her my fish tank on there, if you know what I mean.

I actually don't mean anything other than I gave this woman a fantastic deal on a fish tank.

    Hey - it's worked for my sister-in-law.

She met her last three husbands (of six) on internet dating sites. (the first three were really pre-internet era).

    I'm not joking.

Where is this "Online" country you speak of? And what do it's inhabitants actually look like?

Met a few huddlers all pretty cool so far.
I don't think I could date someone I met online but to each their own.

    Just curious as to why??

Which dating sites have you people used? Not looking to use one I'm just surprised that they actually seem to work. Although I think it's less to do with them being good match makers and more to do with getting both parties to go on a date willing to give the other a chance.

I've had a profile on eharmony and I'm not ashamed of it. Nothing ever came out of it though.

I guess its kind of the long way around meeting someone. Kind of like passing notes or something like that it seems grade school to me. I know its hard for some to approach the opposite sex and on line is an easy way to get around that. I mean you can be who you want to be behind the computer. Now if you have common friends who are on a dating website or some other social website and they hook you up cuz they think you would be a good match then thats cool. That being said I hope you and Fab4 workout.

Thank you, so far it's working..lol
  • gerb131
I hear ya. Well keep working it and working and working it.

I don't think either of us pretended to be someone we weren't. If we had it would have been pretty easy to figure it out the first time we met. I can see how that probably happens pretty frequently but for us it was just talking and finding out we legitimately had a lot in common. It just made sense to at least meet and see where things went.
