Touch Screen technology...I hate it
-
This_DJ_3Camera's, phones, whatever it is...it never works right. I just had this random thought today while trying to flip through my sister's digital camera. You hit the screen three times to get it to do the action you want. This seems to be consistent with any touch screen device i've ever attempted to use.
Does anyone have my distaste for all things touch screen? -
wildcats20I have a touch screen phone and touch screen camera and don't have any problems with either one.

+1...maybe it's just operator error?wildcats20 wrote: I have a touch screen phone and touch screen camera and don't have any problems with either one. -
mtrulzIf you have a LG Vu, I'm not surprised about it. It has the worst touch screen ever.
-
This_DJ_3lol, maybe i have dead finger tips that just don't register when they hit the screen or something.
But way to kill my rant boys...Good work -
ohiotiger33Love my Droid and Ipod touch. Just faster than using a scroll wheel.
-
Laley23Mine is fine. I only have to hit the screen once as well. 3 times is a bit much, 2 at the most (IE, when Im on the internet.)
-
queencitybuckeyeI'll join the others in blaming the ID 10 T error.

If your issue was with just one device, I could understand, but if the problem is consistent along all touch screen devices you've tried then it's definitely operator error. I've noticed that a lot of people who have issues with touch screens tend to press or touch to hard. They think that all touch screens are like the old school ones developed in the '90's that you had to press hard to get to work. They are very sensitive now and don't need much pressure.This_DJ_3 wrote: Camera's, phones, whatever it is...it never works right. hoops23I love the iPod Touch. Works flawlessly...
I hated my Sprint Instinct.. That's possibly the worst touchscreen ever..
I got a Blackberry Curve now. Will probably be getting a HTC Hero by the end of the year.. -
DESCENTdmcI dnt like touch screens that are actual pressure sensitive, I like the iPhones thermal use better
-
Fab4RunnerI had the Voyager and EnV Touch and never had a problem with either (I mean I did but it wasn't the touch screen aspect).
-
THE4RINGZBB Storm. I would never go back to anything other than a touch screen.
-
dubninehate the touchscreens
-
j_crazytook me awhile to learn how to use my iphone properly. but i also have fingers that look like sausage links.

cbus4lifeI love it.

I don't think they actually use thermal to register touches. They're capacitive which I think means that you need to touch it with something that is conductive to a certain degree (IE: your finger).DESCENTdmc wrote: I dnt like touch screens that are actual pressure sensitive, I like the iPhones thermal use better -
WebFireI find that most people who struggle with touch phones are too impatient to either get used to it or adjust it to their style.

LJI am getting more and more used to my MyTouch, but everytime I used my gf's BB Curve I remember how much I miss an actual QWERTY keyboard.
-
iluvzI don't mind things that are touch screen, but for a phone, I'm not a fan. Love my curve 2.

WebFire
