extra cardio

ZWICK 4 PREZI work out after work and do 20 min of HIIT cardio after lifting, but I wanted to get some extra cardio in so I thought about doing 15 min of burpees and situps when I wake up and at night before bed.
A friend of mine is saying that's too much stress on ur heart after waking up. Is this true? What would you all recommend? -

Strapping Young LadI doubt it would be too much stress on your heart unless your heart is weak from some condition. However, I am certainly not a doctor....
