She's a very restless sleeper. Moves around alot, Never in the same spot

Dakota and Cherokee are the same way. You will hear Dakota moving around in her cage all night. Cherokee will start the night at the top of the bed between me and the wife. When i wake up she will either be at the bottom of the bed at our feet or on the floor.

I have a husky myself which is the second of two males that I have owned. The first husky "Nag" was very mellow although he did destroy my couch as a puppy. He was a good dog that listened very well until he got outside and you would think you were running a marathon trying to catch him. The second male "Jack" is very dominant with a mind of his own so he earned the name "Jackass". This dog is to smart for his own good though he does mellow out most of the time. Jack openes the door at will and he goes in and out of the house at his own will, but he never shuts the door, so you have to get up about every hour to shut the door. He is a happy dog but he will also defend us and especially my daughter, we love him.
Huskys love to run so be prepared for that and they also shed like hell. When they shed it reminds me of tumble weed blowing across a praire. You have a good dog an I would own one again.

They are great dogs but keep them on a leash when you have them outside. They will look you right in the eye and wag their tail....then bolt like a bat out of hell.

Also its very hard for them to turn a fight down unless its with a much smaller dog. Make sure you have insurance because you could get in trouble for "letting a dog run loose" when they fight in another persons yard.

They do shed a lot during spring and fall so brush it maybe twice a week and put a raw egg in their food once a week. Egg does miracles for their coat.

Besides that, they will be your best friend everytime you come home!!!

Awesome dogs. Like the picture shows, they will guard their bowls like no other. So don't let them lay around or they'll get weird all day. They will also guard other things... shoes, people, etc. At least my dogs do. Lock stuff up when they're a pup, because you might come home and find out they ate 4 whole chicken breasts and a near whole batch of brownies. They can get mouthy, but it's out of fun. Your neighbors might call the cops because they howl so damn loud in the am when people leave for work. They're stubborn and like to run the show. They do have the kill drive if they see prey. They're usually very good on walks if other dogs are barking and stuff.. they stay quiet. The worst thing though.. be prepared for the constant shedding and them blowing coat like no other. My dogs are still blowing coat, and are actually at their peak right now which is odd. Also, if you give enough slack while walking them, they might have the instanct to run run run. With that said, still the best dog you can get by far IMO.

Took the dog to the vet yesterday, for her shots, and got her nails clipped.

She did awesome, and the vet loved her. She is up to 14#'s now, at 10 weeks old.

What a coincidence..my husky went to the vet yesterday too! :)

She seems pretty smart, already, with potty training.
Any body else here ever have one, or has one now?
Are they as easy as she seems?
Are they bullheaded, or easy going?

I had my husky, Storm, for 11 years, and he was an awesome dog with a really unique personality.

The only problem I had with him is that they like to "run" when they get loose, so make sure they are secure when outside. They also don't like being trapped...i put Storm in a room in the basement when he was a puppy while I went to school, and by the time I got home he had dug his way out...through the paneling, drywall, and studs!

    I miss him...he was a great dog.

We had a husky when our kids were young. We would sometimes hook him up to a harness in the winter and put our kids on a sled behind him. He would love pulling them around - it was instinctive. A memory we will never forget.
