Just when you think he is gone……..

Belly35I have had my privilege returned to the FH for sometime now. I have jumped on and off several times with no interest in posting until I have completed a self determined obligation. I have completed everything I have set out to do but one. I have no control over this matter. I have made the effort and will now move forward.
Some of you whom I had PM'S with, I thank you and I hope we have a better understanding of the Belly. To others who have refused to open rational communication with me only to rant and rave is the same mentality that goes nowhere and achieves nothing. But some of you are accustomed to under achievement …so keep up that worthless attitude.
As you can tell my sensitivity is the same ..direct and forthwith.
I think this article is more etiquette that mine would best exemplify my intentions of the Merry Christmas….just say it.
Please read: http://www.usnews.com/articles/opinion/2...idays.html
OK! That is over, we all can now move on.
They say timing is everything. In the past few weeks lots of racist information has spewed up for the public to view.
Harry Reid for his comments.
Sonia Sontomyer for her comments.
Bill Clinton for his comments.
Let's not forget Obama …..
But most of all a BIG THANKS and high five goes to Al Sharpton, the Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP and the Democrat Party for creating the American double standard: pick and choose racism.
http://scaredmonkeys.com/2010/01/11/cong...t-comment/
While we envision seeing Al Sharpton running in the hall of the Senate waving Duke lacrosse stick demanding a penalty shot at Ding Harry or the NAACP printing KKK Harry poster (sorry that's only done on the FreeHuddle as a joke)
What happens is the low key apology and big "that’s OK Harry you have a socialist agenda to complete for the Obama Administration / Democrat Party."
What where they thinking?:
Times are changing and the idea of what once was racism is taking on new meaning and direction than the old ideology of what is racist or racism. It is not the same as the Webster definition.

While some of you ran down the internet halls of the FH in your Mini Me Sharpton outfit attacking the Belly, the world changed on racism. Many of you attacked my military record, having no idea of what I did and what my squad performed. Some 40 years later we hear that voice of “Baby Killer” ………only to exit with “I was being sarcastic” and attacking my appearance and making jokes. Every day of my life I hear those remakes and sounds…… It could be the same as the “N” word to me. I and my family have endured that same mentality many of you showed for 40 years and you wonder why I’m insensitive and unemotional to society and special interest groups. Want to know about prejudice and discrimination?..... you don’t have to be a minority, just ask me.
In my life time, my relationship with many minorities has been positive, productive and rewarding. I have lived amongst the minorities in the Project (to those that don't know what a Project is, that's where poor people of all races live, where no one can be trusted but those inside the Project are just like you: poor, rejected and sociality outcast.) I've witnessed the racial tension of the 60’s, serviced with, saved and been saved, supported minority issues in our schools and defended their rights, giving freely and willingly to support many groups.
There are many things I dislike about minorities but in 2034, give or take a few years and whether you count Latino as whites, I and many of you will be in the minority.
The Belly is back and I will not waver in my views or opinions. I will speak what I believe is the truth and point out what is reality as I have experiences with it. I will admit wrong but also defend right. I can be your best friend or kick ass. -

ernest_t_bassAlso, feel free to murder me here, but I am taking Belly's back on this one.

derek bomarIn 2034 Whites will still be the biggest single group in the U.S....also, who gives a shit if we are or aren't? I would like nothing more than for a mexican family and a black family to move in as your next door neighbors and watch your head explode.
-
GoChiefsNever have had an issue with you Belly..but why hash up the past? Forget about it..move on. IMO..just start posting again..no need to make a thread to explain yourself or your actions.
As for people ridiculing you for your military record, appearance, or anything else for that matter. You're just going to have to realize this is teh internets. There is a lot of rude people on message boards like this...some just seek out ways to piss people off. That is the only thing they set out to do. So if you don't want to be ridiculed about it..don't put it out there for them to know. Obviously you would have had to tell someone about your military past for someone to know about it. Or you would have had to post a pic of yourself for someone to ridicule your appearance. Just maybe think next time you talk about yourself. If it's something you don't want another poster to talk negative about..don't say it. It's a pretty easy concept if you ask me.
So..welcome back Belly. -

Def LeopardWelcome back, Belly!
I have to tell you I found escargot. Not in a reataurant but at Atlantic Fish and Seafood. They are a wholesaler but will sell to the public. I stopped in there a week or so before Christmas and got a can of 72 X-large for $14.00. There are numerous recipes on the internet and I chose to put the escargot in stuffing mushrooms with a white wine sauce. They were better than I've ever had in a restaurant. Check the Canton phonebook for the address but I believe it's on 6th St. S.E. -

Are you suggesting that minorities can’t live in prosperity neighborhood? Is that a little narrow minded?derek bomar wrote: In 2034 Whites will still be the biggest single group in the U.S....also, who gives a shit if we are or aren't? I do have minorities that are neighbors and we all get along very nicely, support each other, watch over each other, work together and provide side dish of our nationalities at gourmet club dinners. -

I forgot about the Atlantic Fish … our gourmet group use them a lot when we do Paella
Paella is a typical Spanish dish and is traditionally cooked in a "paellera" - a round flat pan with two handles - which is then put on the table. It is normally made using shellfish but can also be made with chicken or rabbit. In many Spanish villages, especially in coastal areas, they use a giant paellera to cook a paella on festival days which is big enough to feed everybody.
A paella is very flexible so if you don’t have the exact ingredients or if you find some of them hard to get hold of, substitute them for something similar. Getting fresh shellfish can be a problem, but you can always use frozen fish and use fish stock instead of water to increase the flavour.
There are literally hundreds of ways to cook a paella and every cook has their own favourite recipe. Here’s mine (it will serve 6 people depending on how hungry you are):
INGREDIENTS:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
½ red pepper, boiled until soft and then cut into long thin strips
2 medium-sized tomatoes, skinned and finely chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
100g peas, cooked
200g prawns (if using cooked prawns substitute fish stock for the water)
200g small clams
200g squid
12 mussels
350g rice (traditionally short grain rice is used but I prefer to use long grain)
2 cloves of garlic, coarsely chopped
a pinch of saffron strands (if you can’t get saffron, use yellow food colouring instead and add it once you have added the liquid)
a sprig of parsley, finely chopped
olive oil
about 800ml water
PREPARATION:
MUSSELS: Wash the mussels, removing the beards. Throw away any that don’t shut on contact with water.
FRESH SQUID: Rub off the outer dark skin. Pull out the insides (including the transparent back bone) and pinch the eye away from the tentacles. Save the tentacles. Cut the squid into rings.
CLAMS: Wash in water and then put in a bowl with some salt so that the grit comes out. Throw away any that are open.
PRAWNS: Whether you peel them or not is up to you. If you decide to peel them, save the shells and boil in water for about ten minutes. Save the liquid and add later instead of water.
GARLIC: In a pestle and mortar, grind the garlic, saffron (if using), parsley and a pinch of salt.
RECIPE:
Heat some olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion, green pepper and carrot and fry gently for about five minutes. Add the chopped tomato and squid (with the tentacles) and fry on a low heat for another ten minutes.
Add the rice and stir well to make sure that it is thoroughly coated. Add water (or the water from boiling the prawn shells or fish stock if using frozen fish), clams and the garlic/saffron/parsley mixture and bring to the boil. Season with salt. Put a lid on it, turn the heat right down and cook very slowly for about ten minutes. Add the prawns and peas and give it a stir. Arrange the mussels and strips of red pepper artistically on top, put the lid back on and leave for another ten minutes - checking that it has enough water. If you think it is getting too dry, add more water, but shake the handle of the pan rather than stir so as not to upset the pattern. Once the rice is cooked and the mussels have opened, it is ready to eat. -
