Fleas

How do you get rid of them? I have heard that crap you put on your dog's back is the best thing for them, but what about the carpets, furniture, pubes, and blankets?

Dog has been itching since summer, and we still think he has them.

You're like a more dickhead version of old-school Chesapeake, which is cool in my book!

Sprinkle a small amount of garlic powder in his food. He can't taste it, but the smell will ooze out through his skin and force the fleas away.

This is how we always had a ton of barn cats on the farm but no fleas...ever.

Yes, but where will the fleas go? My pubes, that's where! And I hate garlic! :)

The dog's scent will go pretty much everywhere, rendering the entire house uninhabitable for fleas.

With the arrival of our new girl, the dog will be outside. When that happens, I know that we will be shampooing the carpets. I might start bathing in garlic. I might try the whole trimming thing too :)

Flea bomb once a week for 4 weeks. They lay eggs in your carpet and they keep hatching. Bathe your dog once or twice a week just in case of baby fleas. Fleas drown pretty easy.

Also there is a spray to hook up to to your garden hose in the spring to kill eggs and hatchlings when it warms up enough.

Yeah, don't even toy with the cheap shit. It's not worth messing around. You don't want to have to use the sprays and foggers on your whole house because you bought cheap dip for your pet.

Get a flea comb, comb dog out, if you see the fleas trapped in the comb, you got them or should I say the dog has them. Frontline works best I have found, but your dog may be allergic to the flea bites even though the fleas die when it bites the dog. Good luck.....................

Frontline for dog and diazinon for your yard two times a year to kill flea's in your yard that then get on the dog.
