  I posted at Yappi back when I was banned from JJ, but it lacked a lot imo.. NOSF is a great message board if you're from the Northern part of the state. Dedicated forums for several different conferences.
  
  If JJ does indeed go to a monthly fee, I will be gone from there for sure though!

  Honestly, all that Yappi lacks is more posters... the boards just get too dead because not enough people were there. If JJHuddle goes through with their plain I could see Yappi picking up a lot of the cast-a-ways and becoming active.

  Yeah, it had a similar layout, but being from Sandusky there wasn't much GBC talk so I ended up not sticking around there..

  I won't be paying at JJ, and if they somehow revert to being free again, I'll use this site too. It'd be nice to have a site that isn't controlled by overzealous mods.

  I don't plan on getting my current name banned on JJ by melting down on Wednesday night in case they do go back to free. I liked the high school football and wrestling forums on there. I will still be on here though!

  I won't be using both sites. I didn't pay for it when I signed up in 2000 and I'm not paying for it now. The "lifetime membership" some people were supposed to get was apparently revoked when they turned back into a free site, and they have no records to prove who paid or didn't. This is according to one of the moderators. Every single discussion topic about the monthly fee gets deleted because they can't handle all the criticism they're getting.
  
  I think they've sorely overestimated how many people just use that site for message boards and don't give a shit about content.
