  "Best" is so personal, but I believe my favorite, Hill Street Blues, deserves mention. It was a groundbreaking show in terms of ensemble dramas.

  I'm not sure I agree, but I'll say this, we were in Europe when the final episode aired and I had 3 people promise me they were taping/DVR'ing it, in addition to our DVR (in case the power went out).

  Drama - LOST, Sopranos, 24 (first 5 years)
  
  Nip/Tuck was great early, but jumped the shark way to quickly into its existence to be considered the best ever. Its prime was just to short, and it is just a bizarre show now. Im glad they are ending it after this season.
