ESPN won't go away because while every sport may have it's own network this will still be the place to go to get news on all sports at once. They are also increasingly becoming the largest carrier of major sports out there (they now carry NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA football and basketball, Major Championship golf, and Grand Slam tennis). Trust me, ESPN isn't going anywhere.

I think that computers, particularly large desktop computers, are slowly on their way out. With phone technology now I think that we're about 25-30 years away from our cell phone being our main PC. Just plug it into a monitor and keyboard when you're home and you're good to go.

No money. Slowly being strangled by the State Govt (which has wanted them to die, so the legislators can wash their hands of this function, for the last 20 years), and that's been exacerbated by the dying Ohio economy.

The whole thing will be privatized by 2025-2030

I'd probably place a little more blame on the state government. At least here in Ohio. I can't speak for other states.

Education was meant for the states, but the federal government has tainted it.

Fossil Fuel use for the generation of electricity. Before long Nuclear power will replace coal as the largest source of electric power in the United States.
