Do you have your parents/kids as Facebook friends?

I think the exact opposite. People post so much dumb shit online, too stupid to realize it's accessible to millions of people and could come back to bite them in the butt. Maybe if they knew certain people could see their profile, they might be smarter about the stuff they post.derek bomar wrote: you dont wanna be friends with your kids on fbook...just way too much bad would come from it
Anyway, I am "friends" with my parents, and my 3 year old daughter (I made her a profile). -
LJI am friends with my dad, my grandma and my gf's parents.

AngelYes, we use it as a way to stay in touch since so many family members have moved away from the area.

heel023I am friends with my mom on FB. And my 2 of my kids also have FB but my wife and I make sure to check them every day.

NateIf they don't want you as an FB friend, they are hiding something or don't want you to find out they are something else than what you think they are..

I don't think thats necessarily true. We all know that for every parent that can keep it within reason there's one thats completely overbearing and stalking their kid's every move... -
~zoom~My Dad is pretty laid back, or use to be... we just became facebook friends, my brother and him as well. However my brother had a status update that he was 'in Akron for the day...' which was Tuesday, on Friday my Dad called my brother questioning why my brother was in Akron. Turns out he was delivering a car for work...
I think it's fine to have your parents as your friends, you shouldnt be hiding that much from them anyway. I have some of my younger cousins as friends. A few friends parents. -
allstarI don't have my parents or grandparents on mine. They think it's cool to comment on everything you post, telling you how much they love you and miss you. It drove me nuts. I was fine with it until they started that.
