If you were to purchase one of these...which one?
-
bases_loadedI am trying to spend some Best Buy gift cards. Can't decide which of these to purchase.

McFly1955Do you have a blu ray player or a PS3? If not, get a PS3....
Otherwise I like the Wii out of the 3 choices... -
Crew LoveiPod Touch, without a doubt.
It's essentially a mini-computer and I can't imagine not having mine; surprisingly, what most people would associate an iPod with - music - is the thing that I use my Touch for the least. -
YtowngirlinflaIpod Touch also. I also wanted a Touch or a Kindle but I got the Touch cause it has a kindle app or other ereader app.
-
trackandccrunnerWii for sure!
-
End of LineI-Pod touch. The Wii isn't as popular as it once was.
-
gerb131I-pod

2quik4ujust wait for the mac tablet to come out and get that
-
BigAppleBuckeyeI may be way off base, so correct me if I am wrong, but why would people buy an Apple Ipod touch when they can just get an Iphone, which has a camera, phone and other extra gadgets included?

You're looking at an extra $300 at the absolute minimum (based on rumored prices) for a Tablet when compared to a Touch. For Tablet-range bucks, he could get a Touch and a Wii, and still have some cash left over.2quik4u wrote: just wait for the mac tablet to come out and get that -

well for one, its more expensive, and two you have to have AT&T as your service provider for it to work...and as it was decided in another thread, based on there commercials AT&T blowsBigAppleBuckeye wrote: I may be way off base, so correct me if I am wrong, but why would people buy an Apple Ipod touch when they can just get an Iphone, which has a camera, phone and other extra gadgets included? -
hoops23iPod Touch no doubt. Love mine..
If you get an iPod touch, you're also getting a Kindle and nice little pocket gaming machine... -

The iPhone doesn't have anything extra except for the camera and service from ATT, which I would rather stay away from!BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I may be way off base, so correct me if I am wrong, but why would people buy an Apple Ipod touch when they can just get an Iphone, which has a camera, phone and other extra gadgets included? -

I have an old 8gb Ipod video that is starting to go....so I've been considering replacing it with the Ipod touch.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I may be way off base, so correct me if I am wrong, but why would people buy an Apple Ipod touch when they can just get an Iphone, which has a camera, phone and other extra gadgets included?
1 time cost of $185.
I have verizon for my cell phone, $45 per month after my company discount (250 texts, no data).
If I got an Iphone, I would have the up front cost, plus my cell phone bill would increase to around $80 per month...So, after 5 months I would pay for the cost of an Ipod touch with just my increase in cell phone plan costs.
I have a computer within arms reach 95% of the time when I'm awake, so I'd be happy with just wifi when needed, and the same functionality of my old Ipod video, plus more... -

I have superior service with Verizon. For me to get the iphone I would lose that service.BigAppleBuckeye wrote: I may be way off base, so correct me if I am wrong, but why would people buy an Apple Ipod touch when they can just get an Iphone, which has a camera, phone and other extra gadgets included?
I have a ps3.
I didn't realize there was a kindle app..this is getting pretty easy it seems. Other than memory are there any differences between the 8 and 32gb ipod touches? -
BigAppleBuckeyeGood points across the board ... and as a current iPhone user, I agree, AT&T SUCKS ASS ... I will be sitting in a bar in NYC (it's not like I live in Montana), and the person next to me has 4 bars on the phone while my phone is out of service. So frustrating!
-
BORIStheCrusherGo with the I-touch, my gf has one and music is the last thing she uses it for. I wanted an iphone but might get a touch instead.
Got a wii too which is fun, but only use it to play games when we have people over or work out on wii-fit. -
LeonardoIf I were you, I'd be the Nintendo Wii. If it was me, the I-Pod touch because I already have a Nintendo Wii.
-
O-TrapDepends on what you're wanting.
Wanting something to use in your own personal time? I'd go with the Touch.
Want something that will be great for bringing people around? The Wii would be better. -

Here's a comparison chart. Note that there's also a 64GB version.bases_loaded wrote:

hangonsloopyI'd get a Wii, but I already have an Iphone.
I've never had an issue with AT&T. I always have service and I could never have a touch and not have some form of internet all the time. The only complaint I have is that I don't get 3g in the city I work in, but that's trivial. -
I Wear PantsDon't get the Kindle App, it isn't the best e-reader app available.
Stanza is, evidenced by the fact that Amazon recently bought them out and will probably be basing future updates of their app off of it. Seriously, Stanza. -
Go_Fast_SportsIpod Touch.
PS3 is all you need or now.
