Guess I'm the first to pick McDonald's.....Like I said, the numbers don't lie. Mickey D's smokes all of these places in sales for a reason. They have the best breakfast, they have the best variety, they are the trend setter for which every other place on this list follows. McDonalds runs, has run, and always will run the fast food market.

Hardee's. And I'm pissed they closed the one in Bellefontaine. Their burgers far surpass the flavor of any other fast food joint.

they are very good at researching a location and are often the first business in a place that's about to blossom with grownth

When I was a kid (the 90s) we went to Columbus a lot to visit relatives...and one thing I remember about the trips was that there was a McDonalds all by itself on 23 between Delaware and Columbus, just north of Powell Rd. We always thought it was kind of weird that there was this random McD's all by itself.

Now that area has a Walmart, Home Depot, Meijer, Giant Eagle, a few strip malls, several bank branches and a whole bunch of fast food and chain sit down restaurants.
