Carhartt Fans?
-
Vincanity15I am searching for outdoor wear for my son. I have been to Tractor Supply, Cabella's and Dick's Sporting goods trying to buy carhartt. The carhartt website is much more expensive than local retailers. My problem is size here...
I need to purchase large (tall) size and all I find in retailers is regular. If I locate the correct size it is not the correct color. If you wouldn't mind posting where you bought your carhartts and how much you dropped I would appreciate the information lots!
Thank you! -
LJI buy all my stuff from TSC, Cabelas, Sportsmansguide and Buckeye Outdoors.
You might try giving Buckeye Outdoors a call, they are in Hebron Ohio (740) 928-3474 and see if they have them or can order them in for you. -
cbus4lifeThe few times i've needed Carhart i've went to TSC in Delaware, on Rt. 23. Always had a great selection, sizes i needed, etc.

Strapping Young LadGot my overalls at Gabriel Brothers. Not sure if they have those were you live but it's like a cheap department store. Youy can get crap that's damaged (ie missing button or misprinted) or just stuff that is out of season.
Like i said, got my Carhardts there and I remember them having a nice selection of sizes. -

oberhausAre you near Willard? There is a Carhart dealer/Red Wings dealer just on the east side of town on 224. Can't recall the name, but that's where my uncle gets his and he gets an unusual large/tall size.

I mean like, so much so that it is sickening. Drive the extra 10 minutes down 70 and go to Buckeye Outdoors. -
David St. HubbinsIMO Carhartt is overpriced to begin with. There are several knockoff brands that are just as good and less expensive.

Eh. I mean I mainly wear Walls, but I still don't feel it is the same quality as carhartt.David St. Hubbins wrote: IMO Carhartt is overpriced to begin with. There are several knockoff brands that are just as good and less expensive. -
dancinbearUgh that shit is my favorite. I hate being cold, but when I put the farmers carhartts on....so great.
My fiance wears "tall" sizes and I get them at the Andersons or Midwood. -
End of LineCarhartt is pretty good but, I prefer Realtree.

AcesinCaliforniaNot sure where you are located, but when I lived in Ohio I used to go to a store in Frankfort (near Chillicothe). Can't remember the name, but Frankfort is not a big metropolis and it was right in town. May have been a feed store? Good selection/prices as I recall, but that was 8 or so years ago, so not sure if it is still in business.

Yea definitely a lot is overpriced! I saw this Columbia or maybe it was a NorthFace coat that I wanted..I turned the tag and it was like $325.. I had about $300 in cash on me, but I sure as hell wasn't spending that much on a jacket..LJ wrote:

Mallows? Used to go there as a kid. Not right in Frankfort, outside of town a few miles.AcesinCalifornia wrote: Not sure where you are located, but when I lived in Ohio I used to go to a store in Frankfort (near Chillicothe). Got me some new Carhartt insulated bibs a couple of weeks ago, right before the snow hit. Went to Dunham's in Chillicothe - $69.99 minus $50.00 gift card = $19.99 minus AAA discount = $17.99. Got a size larger than my old ones, which while well broken-in had some "air-conditioning" issues. That's what's weird - the sizing. Don't go by your jeans size or your nads will hate you. -
AcesinCaliforniaTiger, you are right, it is before you get in town now that I think of it. I think that is it. Believe it sits on a road intersection.
